hi all some help with this one chick would be much appreciated.

met a girl in my home city a couple months back. she performed before my friend at a gig. we got chatting backstage...great vibe...nearly bounced her to another club where another of my friends was playing. she then had to stay due to her technically being at work.

facebook chat over the following days. she said out meet had been too brief, and that she was intrigued by me etc.

we both then move abroad to the same place for work for a few months.

we have met a few times in various clubs here. she even suggested dinner and hanging out away from work which we did. i didn't escalate much as was being a pussy / she knew some people in the bar we ended up in...

she then flew to another country for a week for work. when she got back i asked how it was over Facebook. she said it was cool. i asked if she missed me playfully (the way all our interactions had been up until now)...no reply...

i left it. then saw her in a club again...she came and gave me a hug etc and then said 'oh sorry i didnt reply'...i acted like i didnt really remember what she was talking about and said something like 'oh...dont be such a loser i was probably just messing around'...then she said 'of course i missed you'

i've since seen her at another couple gigs here...always said hello and had a quick chat before me exiting to 'go work' / talk to someone else...

we had previously agreed to try out some more spots here...i suggested this earlier this week via fb chat...no reply. i knew she had a big event that night and she had been worried about that....but i just feel like it has fizzled out...

i know i should just leave it, maybe until we both get back to our home city after the summer season...go find some other chicks (which i have been doing) etc...but be good to get some thoughts.

I'd say it has fizzled out and now she is just being nice. I'd say leave it for a while, but make sure next time you see her you are fun and touchy and flirty, but don't make it seem like you want anything from her, don't suggest a date. Maybe invite her out when you're with your friends and make sure there are other girls in your group. Let her see you be fun and touchy and flirty with them, I'm almost sure she'll change her opinion of you. You won't get her interested in you by chasing her, get her to chase you a bit.

bit of an update...

saw her 2 nights ago at a club and had a brief chat. she came up to me to say hello. asked if i caught her perform at her last show. i said i wasnt there as i had better things to be doing...she laughed and i then seriously asked her how it went etc.

said id be there next time as i had a friend going already. then she had to go to carry on working.

saw her again last night in a different venue. again i let her come say hello to me. she was already leaving to get to work. she asked if i was coming again to the next show, some kino from her not me (her gripping my arm through whole interaction).

i said i'd see her at the next gig. will use ddhh's advice and see what happens...
