So, after having fun at a party Thursday night with a girl, i called her to set up a date Friday afternoon. First time i rang the phone was engaged, second time no answer and no voice mail. not a good sign right? Shot her a text shortly afterwards making light of her not answering the phone and asking if she was still drunk from the night before. she gets back a couple hours later saying she was asleep most of the day because was she was tired (pretty believable).
Anyway after a bit of fluff i ask her out to come walk my dog with me for Monday, and possibly some make her a sandwich we talked about on the night. No response for 24 hours but then i get "Awwww you have a dog ahh i cant monday tho, but another time we should hang out! Oh lol, we talked bacon? thats hilarious, you'll have to remind me" (should note she was really quite drunk on the night)

Anyway i haven't responded yet because i have absolutely no idea where to go, all advice and criticism welcome.

The best response to a flake is no response.

Had a girl do this too me just last week (she later told me why, lesson learned). Had drinks set up, about 3 hours beforehand she texted that she was "busy at work and had to take a rain check". Pure bullshit, but hey whatever. What I used to do was respond and say "cool another time" or whatever. Which I now believe strongly is a mistake.

Instead I just didnt respond. I instantly froze her out. Then, a few days later, on Saturday night, I texted "going out around [here] come along!" After a bit of back and forth I met her at a bar and she basically jumped me. Now I have her exactly where I want her. Whenever she declines an invite all I have to do is ignore her for a few days and its on.

So yeah, just don't respond at all. Then wait a few days and invite her to something you are doing with your friends and do it on the day.
