Here are some of my openers if i see a girl texting:
1) i go next to her, and stare at her phone. After 1-2 sec i say" try this i think is better" and i say something i think is funny like "this dude next to me creeps me out" and i point at my wing and than smile.
2) If i see her texting i go to her and say, "Your phone looks just like my old phone... i lost my phone... Owwwww, please don't tell me your the thief" smile and giggle and than i talk to her like i know her for ages "neah i'm just messing with you Carla, how have you been?" smile again...
I think mine are better and you can use them if you want to!
