I've just N-CLOSED a girl at work. I was thinking of no calling her until 2-3 days from now. When do you think is the appropiate time to call her-how many days from actual N-CLOSE?

New advice tends to lean towards the very next day, as girls know the 3-day rule and expect this, so change it up a little on them!

Also the experience of her meeting you will be fresh in her mind, you leave it a couple of days and the new guys that she has been meeting may have replaced you.

first off, as you'll find through the forum, girls from work are generally a bad idea. the idea is to not have to see them again if you don't want to.

that said, i tend to text them relatively soon, and always with something interesting. I find that a random text gets better results than a random phone call if you've just recently met.

My advice, may be a little different then the others...

I would NOT text her before you call her. I beleive it will give them the idea that your afraid to speak directly. It will also lead them in the direction of being more comfortable with you in texts then in "person" over the phone. You want them to be comfortable and even look foreward to phone convo.

I would wait anywhere from 2-4 days. I have tried calling sooner and later (upto a week later), with negative results.

Texting should be reserved as a way to re-initiate phone convo (sending them a text that will get them to call you), or in response to thier texts.

I still go with the 2 day rule.

It depends mostly on the vibe that you and the girl have between each other. If she REALLY has fun with you/enjoys being in your presence, DON'T wait. Give her a call and get with her. If it's not so much that way, wait a bit longer . . . and YES I have told some of my students to wait a week, purposely . . . and when you contact her, put off that "I"m the guy you want to know and remember" vibe.
