I see this ALOT in club, gym etc.

Basically, the girl is doing something on her phone(texting, playing games w/e). But they dont look like they are focusing on what their doing on the phone. Once in a while they check out their surroundings, and when I look at them, they look back at me. The way they look back seems as though they are seeing if I am checking them out.

When this happens in the gym, these girls usually just get on the treadmill WALK casually for a few minutes(while on the phone doing something.) And then off to something else for like a few seconds, and then another... most of these girls are looking at their phone the whole time -from beginning to end-.....

Are these girls easy targets? The way they are not really focusing on what there doing, and constantly check out their surrounding, makes them seem like they are here so that they can get hit on by other guys.

In the gym setting. No, they are NOT easy targets. If you'll notice , usually their ear buds will be in. They are picking songs to complement their work out. (also text messaging/facebooking/other) Why? So they can BLOCK OUT surrounding activity, and the fact that they KNOW you are checking them out. They KNOW that the tread mill area is the biggest creeper station at the gym.

They do not want to be hit on here, they are feeling, sweaty, fat, gross, and vulnerable. They know all their junk is jigglin! and every male in the place took a peek!

They especially do not want anyone they are attracted to near them at this time. They are embarrassed, do you like to feel embarrassed?

They also realize it is an open area and interaction can occur, that's why they play with their phones. To block as much as possible. Although momentary eye contact, and a smile are fine, drop it after that.

Why do they seem to move on quickly once in a while? They are feeling creeper vibes, DUH!

How can I be so sure of this?

I have 3 model quality daughters that work out daily, and work out with and help train figure competitors.

Wonder where they went, when they bounced off that tread mill? They went to tell me about it!

I am NOT saying you cannot open a girl at the gym, I'm saying the tread mill is the worst place in the gym to try.

They are constantly assessing their options for the evening, via their surroundings, messaging, and social media.
Yes, and them VERY quickly assessing YOU! That is your window, if she is open, she will slide her phone to the side, turn it over, or drop it in their lap.
