Before I say this, I want to make it 100% clear that I am not hating on you or trying to make you feel bad in any way. This is simply constructive criticism and if you follow this advice, I think you'll be happy.

I don't think what you are saying is as much an issue as that scraggly beard is. It's just that...well...you have a neckbeard.

Get yourself a beard trimmer and shave off all that excessive beard that stretches down your neck. You will look much more fashionable even if you plan on keeping the full goatee.

Groom a little bit and then re-snap a nice new photo with a big friendly, sly smile and try to squint your eyes just enough to look animated.
