I don't want to have my photos on a dating website incase some of my family or friends find it, I'd never hear the end of it -_-

What do you think about giving girls your facebook profile with your opening msg so that they can see more pictures of you, know a bit more about you and know you're not some fake?

I always had a bad impression about online dating and thought it was for losers and ugly girls, but I'm surprised at the amount of cuties on these sites!

Giving up a Facebook could have its pros and cons. Like eventaully when you start friending all of these potential girls they will overlap. These girls might see that your a player. But it is good that your willing to show her a glimpse of your social life.

The answer really is how good or bad your facebook makes you look. Maybe you can friend the girl your into then when your done de-friend her. Obviously if your dating someone that will bite you in the ass. If not dating anyone then just doing a good job in managing these online prospects is the way to go.

If you want a woman's POV on this...NO PICTURE - NO REPLY. When a guy wont put a picture up on his online dating profile we assume A. He has a girlfriend/wife and doesn't want to get caught or B. He's not good looking and is trying to win us over with charm, hoping that looks wont matter in the end. Who cares what you friends think? If you start meeting hot women they will soon shut up. I can't believe online dating is something to be ashamed of these days.

yea good point. Are you dating these women to impress your friends and family? Fuck them in the end. The girl should make you happy no matter what she looks like, they shouldnt even be a factor. Me and my friends shit on each other all the time about ugly, annoying, different girls that come around. It's out of fun though even if there is some truth.
