A friends wife called me over the weekend asking if it was ok to give my number to a group of college girls she has interning for her so we could hang out. I thought sure why not. They call late Saturday night, but I'm with someone so I don't answer. They text the next afternoon telling me that my friend gave them my number and I had said I'd be interested in hanging out. I call early evening and no answer.

I'm trying not to put too much effort into this since I have plans most days and have no idea what these girls even look like, but I am curious about it all.Never had a blind group type thing happen. I'm curious because they could be Smoking hot, hideous, or just plain jane.

When/If decide to set something up:
Do I bring along guy friends or just go solo to check em out. (since I am going in blind, looks wise).
What kind of activity do we do? I'm guessing either dinner out, bar, suggest we cook dinner at one of our places (they all live together).

I'm new here and my situation was different but when I started my new job a group of co-worker women were going out for a drink and one asked me to meet up with them. I took a friend and had a great time and although nothing came of it for me my friend did start talking and then hooking up with one of the women. I would definitely not go to thier home and cook for them or invite them all over to your house and cook. If your meeting a large group I would go for a drink, take a friend or a few friends; keep it fun and light and see if any of them are worth pursuing.

Is it a group who is texting you? Like 1 number per 2-3 women? I would ask them for a group pic so you can find out which one you want to marry (or something stupid and silly like that).

Situation 1) they know what you look like and think you're attractive

Situation 2) They don't know what you look like but you got recommended by a FEMALE friend so good trust/rapport there

Situation 3) they're joking with you

Either way, don't risk it too much but you'd be stupid not to pursue it somewhat. If they don't answer after a few txts/calls during the week, don't bother.

IMO its the perfect situation you got here. Like you don't have to do anything and its already not embarrassing because you're being hooked up. As the others said bar, with other male friends

I would say it's situation 2. I'm guessing they only have one phone as they are only in this foreign country for the summer. The text they sent said, "Hey we are the girls from *insert organization*, and *** said you would be interested in hanging out!"

I've only tried calling once.
How would an initial text differ from the usual because of the whole group dynamic?
