The funny thing is that many guys think they are being inconspicuous or subtle about their intentions when they ask a girl to come back to their place to watch something. Females read subtext far better than the vast majority of males and are much more socially aware. The point is that if a girl likes a guy he can suggest almost anything (barring its something that sounds non-creepy) and she will almost always agree, that is, unless she's not interested in him, or on the fence about him, or does not want to come off as too easy. The message is quite clear however, and they know it.

You are correct. They want sex just as much emotionally... however, you can't be logical with a girl and just say "come over and have sex with me." That will creep her out. By saying "Hey I've got this super funny youtube video I want to show you!" -you can overcome her logical mind because LOGICALLY, she tells herself she is going over to your house to watch a video... She won't feel like a slut.

^^^^ Exactly. The girl needs deniable plausibility and the belief that the sex "just happened" because of fate, chemistry or some other girly nonsense.
