Interesting, was it released december 18th cause i saw it on the shelves earlier then that. And are there 2 books? Cause i only saw one in the stores, and it was quite thick, almost as thick as the game but all i read was the first page which told me THAT I HAD TO READ IT ONE PAGE PER DAY or something like that :P

I dont know about the realease date, but I received mine the 25th purchased the 24th.

Yes there are 2 books

No you dont read one page per day. Its a 30day process. Everyday theres missions you have to accomplish. You dont read the next days mission until you have accomplished the previous.

This book is being advertised on the main page of myspace so I am going to say many people have seen it. Again be aware of the canned material if there is any :) .

My comment on that is "it doesnt matter". As long as you're not using the default routines, openers, etc. you should be good. The defaults are pretty much just examples.

While I do think that the Diary part is actually VERY inspiring (thegame888, i think you got some problems if you didn't learn valubale lessons from that), I do acknowledge that the white book, The Stylelife Challenge, is indeed just a copy and paste job of the stylelife challenge that's already available for free. Style already released his challenge day by day on the net some time ago. With the right research, you can find it for free.

However, the black book, the diary, is priceless. In hindsight I would not have paid 20 to 30 dollars on it but it's quite amazing. Every PUA should read it at some point.

I really must disagree with thegame888 when he says "The second book is uninteresting, uninspiring and seems like it has been rushed together. It has no order and it's message is dissapointing." That just tells me that thegame888 has an incomplete or immature conscience. Read it again in a few years, thegame888, and see what you think of it then.

so basically mystery and style no longer careabout it being a "secret" or even an "underground" society...sad really cause I just got in.

Yes I agree that it doesnt matter as long as you dont copy and paste the routines but even still before 2000 the whole "men have a plan" thing was a myth by 2005 it was a myth and now at the very start of 2008 its reality. Though women wont think of this while everything is going on you'll can't be dumb enough to not realize how this changes things.

Chief999 please don't preach to me. I think it's cool that you are a newb, but just don't make out like you're not. Everyone has to go through a period of learning, growth and development.

As somebody who was really looking forward to this book, I was dissapointed after I read it. Maybe that's because I'm not new to the game and have done alot of reading of other authors. For me, there is nothing new here.

The second book that Chief999 speaks of consists of a number of supposedly real-life experiences which basically warn that the game is addictive and can be bad for your health. And Neil himself admits that the book has barely any order. This is pretty basic stuff. The tone is depressing.

I'm glad that Chief999 got something out of it. But, I think that he should read it again in a few years. Maybe by then, he'll have learnt and matured enough to withdraw his silly line about 'incomplete and immature conscience'. You make me laugh Chief999!

PS I think the book is okay for newbs who will learn from it. However, I feel you will learn alot more by reading others. Don't believe all the hype that's been generated by clever marketing is what I'm saying. Those bloody marketers.....at it again!!! :x

you know what i just got my copy today. Honestly im excited hahah the 30 days challenge. Now 25 dollars? is it worth it? OF COURSE IT IS. if that shit could improve my game you could bet im all for it. Who cares if STYLE is making a whole lot of money and if women knows. If you have GAME then you have Game.

ATTRACTION IS NOT A CHOICE. OK she called me out being a player? and? she still want me! dont worrying about the PUA COMMUNITY being exposed and going mainstream instead improve your game and ALWAYS leave that person one step behind you. Your the Leader now believe that and become one. Artist

p.s. i will give you guys a review about the books after i read it and field tested the missions. Go Buy the BOOK i think its worth it 8)

obviously the two books are very different... with a little research on the web one would be able to determine what "rules of the game" is all about and if it's worth it to them to invest in said materials.

if you think about it any kind of self improvement, scientific, historical or biographical literature can be found for free on the internet. you dont "need" to purchase rules of the game because if you search long and hard enough for it, you'll find it...

the purpose of books nowadays, because of internet access and sharing of knowledge is to have all of this (proven, reliable, credible) materials in one convenient, well arranged package.

as for the journal, i have not read it. sounds like a collection of writings that any given individual could ether love or hate (or anywheres in between)... just like any other piece of writing. again, if the journals are not worth it to you - oh well it happens. the key is making the best of it, try to extract any valuable lessons if possible and move on.

If you are good then don't bother with this book, I've skimmed over
and while it is appears a tad more useful than "the game" (blah, amusing
read but ZILCH educational value) it is not really of much use. Or so
it appears, I'll just be boring it off a friends once he is finished
reading through it (never spent any money on the seduction stuff, why
start now?).

edit:
lol, meant "borrowing" not "boring"

kinda appropriate really

Please give your views on this book & comparison to the original book "the game"
I have these books. I got them for my birthday. Even though it's already been settled I'm going to reiterate. There is no comparison. They're completely different. The Game is a story of Neils life over two years.

These two Books not singular, are a breakdown of everything that Neil deems
as important. He even says "When I wrote my account of those two years, The Game, I thought it was my last word on the subject. I wanted to walk away gracefully. Even though I inadvertently became the top-ranked expert in the pickup community, I prefer to be a student of life, not a professor. I write not to teach but because I enjoy storytelling."

He goes on to say that The Game is a story and these books are more of a how-to guide.

I've only just started Book II The Style Diaries and I love it already.
I'm deciding whether or not to open The Stylelife Challenge because I'm not exactly a beginner but I did take a break for a while, and it's never hurtful to experiment with everything. Not to mention, c'mon it's Style so it's gonna be good shit.
