I wouldn't recommend going to the movies. I mean, you want to getto know her/talk which you can't at a place like that. Other than that, solid advice, you just gotta do it!
Sending a text=might lead to seeing her
Not sending a text=will most likely not see her again
So what do you got to lose? Since your friend broke up with his gf you won't end up in an akward situation with the four of you after texting her any way.
