Hey everyone, I have a weird situation so I'll just start from the beginning. I drive a Mustang Cobra, if you don't know what that is its a step up from a GT version of a Mustang, and they are pretty rare (i.e. the one I have there were only 118 made). I was driving to the university I attend the other day when I got behind a newer Cobra in the parking garage. There's sort of this relationship between Cobra owners that we feel a connection, so I figured I'd park next to it and compliment the driver. Well, as soon as I get out, the driver gets out and she's pretty attractive (I'd say an and before I can say anything, she says "Hey I like your car." So I responded in like kind and then headed off to class since I was already late.

Well after a bit, I realized I missed a good opportunity, so I decided to put a note under her wiper just saying its always nice to meet other Cobra drivers and putting my number on it. So that afternoon, after I had placed the note under her wiper, I got back to my car and there was a note under my wiper. Basically it said on one side that she was new in town and she wondered if I knew any good places to take her car for regular maintenance and it had her name and number. Then on the back it said something like "oh I can't believe it, I wrote this before I saw your note on my car, Cobra drivers must think alike, hope to talk to you soon " with the little winking face and all.

Anywho, later on I gave her a call, no answer, so I just left a message saying who I was and to give me a call back. It was already kind of late when I called so I didn't really expect a call back. Well today during a class I got a text from her, and we went back and forth for about an hour and a half with messages, just basically chatting, and she said she would give me a call either tonight or tomorrow night. Oh, and in the texts she calls me doll a couple of times. I didn't know really how to take that, so I'll leave it at that.

And that's where I leave it up to you. I am not a pick-up artist, by any definition of the word. But, in your infinite wisdom, I ask the community does this situation make it seem like she's interested in me? Or is she really only trying to figure out where she can take her car to for maintenance (I figure the yellow pages would be a good place to look for that info if that's the case.) Thanks!

Hmm thanks I think. Ya I probably do need to work on my confidence. I'd say I'm pretty good at faking it till I make it, but I'm not good at the making it part. I tend to over analyze things. Good to get some positive feedback, now if I can just keep from screwing things up.

She is deffinatly intrested in you. Think about it, she opened you, with was a pretty normal commet i know, but still. She left a note, the maintanance thing was just an excuse to see you again. A girl you just met wont spend hours txting you if she is'nt intrested, and she asked you to call her, and this is when you should arrange the date, preferlably that night.
Your on to a winner here.

Always assume she is intrested until you suspect otherwise, keep this mind and it should give you the confidence to do what you know you gotta do. Ok its not a certainty but most the time you can tell, and if she does'nt turn out to be a right one, its no big deal, right?
With this way of thinking i pick out IOI's everywhere, even if iv mis-read the situaction, it still kicks me up the ass to make my move.

A bit off-topic, but what year Cobra do you own? I'm assuming you have a non-FI one and she has the terminator? If she drives an 03-04 Cobra, you found a winner. Haha but really, she sounds interested so go for it. If you know of any car meets, it sounds like something she might be interested in (while most other girls aren't... unfortunately).

I wish it was an 03-04 that way even if she wasn't interested I might get a ride in her car I am not sure what you mean by non-FI, although I'm sure after you tell me it will seem obvious. But, I drive a 94 white cobra w/ black leather interior. I was just picking a number earlier, but after checking there were actually 473 of these made, still not bad. Hers is actually even rarer, its an 01 mineral gray convertible, one of only 382.

dude even if she isn't interested(highly doubt it, sounds like she wants u) why not try to game her shes new and obviously trusts u somewhat so go for it.

Non-FI = no forced inuduction (super). Which is what all but the 03-04 Cobras were, but I'm sure you knew that. All my friends have Mustangs, I'm the only one with an F-body. And I like it that way .

96Firebird: Yea I should have known what that meant And yea it's not supercharged, although I have thought about buying a turbo kit and strapping it on, but thats just too much money. One of my buddy's owns a 02 Saleen (he's the guy I bought my cobra from) and man it's tight.

TX_TECH: You lucky bastard...did you buy it new, or used? I only ask cuz it seems impossible to even find one used that hasn't been modded and raced. I'm not on either of those boards yet but I'll probably be joining them today

Ah more Mustang guys! Haha nah they're cool I guess... My roommate has an '06 Roush, my other buddy has a 99GT with full bolt-ons and we have another friend with a 5.0 Fox body and another with a V6. All are 5spd coupes, it looks weird when I roll up with them in my purple Firebird .

Ah I just found out something interesting today...she's a model...as in she's one of those models that they put a kawasaki next to in magazines. I don't know if that's good or bad. I mean, she's hot, but damn she's a model so my chances just went down I think...
