I have had this problem before I started playing the game, I think if she is into you she will answer straight away. I usually leave it a few minutes and wait to see if they say something to me first, if they dont neg them. Say 'oh I didn't see you online' or something like that. I tend not to speak for more than 20mins online and if the conversation dies down I will say I am going, block them so it appears I am offline.
I am guessing that if you are chatting online you are probably in C2 stage and comforting her. From what I have read the key thing in comfort stage is to keep the conversation going so you have a vibe and do fun things. Online it is easy to let the conversation die down because you dont get the arkward silence and it's hard to get a good vibe going and there is only a certain amount of fun things you can do together e.g play games. I use msn just to remind a girl I am there. Say hi, maybe a bit of banter, then say I have to go and do *enter something interesting*. Use the phone to arrange to see her.
I recon you should leave her be, if she is taking 5 mins to reply she carn't be into you that much, go out sarging get loads more women. Hope that helps
