I've never used negs before because they didn't seem necessary, but I wanted to step things up and get more consistent with hotter girls. I'm trying negs out now and getting mixed results. Sometimes I use them and they go over fine and I continue as usual, but sometimes I use them and the target will look at her friend, tell them what I said and start laughing really hard and I'm not sure what to do at that point.

I don't think they're laughing at me. I suspect it's some sort of shit test, but I really can't tell. For example, I talked to a 9:
Me -Are you cold? You look like you're shivering.
Her (right away or a minute later, to her friend) -He told me I look like I'm shivering because I'm cold!
They both look at each other and laugh for a long time and I stand there and have no idea what to say or do and things just get weird from there.

I like to think I'm not bad at picking up girls at this point and I'm pretty calibrated, but I've never dealt with this before and I still can't think of a good way to handle it. Anyone see this before or know a good way to proceed?

Be sure to have a better frame when you neg, just "shoot and forget", act
as it's your normal behaviour.

Remember: Negs - your tool to brake routine. If they laugh because what you said, your funny.

Hmm.. I don't feel like that was a "neg" you gave her anyways. Because everyone shivers when cold?

A neg should be more direct to her in general, not so much about generalities. This will make the hit be more directed to what SHE actually is / her personality / appearance, etc.

Like mentioned, don't look for a response, just continue on. From this point, after you neg the target turn back and continue stacking / multi-threading the group or whatever you might have been doing with your routines.

I wish the concept of negs never came out. Certainly it's good maybe 50% of the time on a general pick up, but 80% of the guys I see don't have a logical concept how to do it. I actually like your line b/c she got with her gf and laughed, and if she was actually shivering that's real good.

The way to continue your neg would be, when they started laughing, go ask them simultaneously what they are laughing about? did you say something funny? "you didn't REALLY mean too", Are they laughing at a stupid joke? are they fake laughing. You got them to a decent spot , maybe, but you didn't follow through. A lot of cold approach pick up is talking to 2 women at once and making them both like you by pitting both against the other, and building one up to the other based on what they say and what you see.

Negs are not saying shit like "your dress wiggles when you laugh" You might open with something like " did you go to x bar tonight" no "did you go to y bar" no . "Maybe you should get out more?" use 2 radically different facial expressions to deliver it. one is a nice funny guy, one is an asshole insulting guy. keep in mind I been doing this 15 years

I heard Mystery stopped teaching negs. .....I could be wrong.
