Just in case if this info helps understanding:
The game with her used to go pretty well, and she also had some attraction towards me
But I screwed up and prolonged too much (Escalation anxiety - lack of kino, only friendly hugs, and no Kiss Close)

It was a factor of both, she was not attracted/interested in you, hence you catching the IODS. Also stop the needy behaviour, even if you don't care, just don't do it. She hadn't spoken to you in a long time, then saw those flirty messages, she started wondering and tried to hook you in, and it worked easily for her, because you're so desperate for her. You really need to work on that and change that, this girl will play games with you, which you are not ready for yet.. If you think you are, go ahead but it will be a painful experience in the end.
