EMS, 5-lies game, cube game, NEG and something like that. I mean; all tricks. For example if you go to the Malaysia and say "Hey party is finished?" it looks so silly. But in USA, it is funny. Like this.
I am from Ukraine and spent a lot of time in Russia, so I will speak for those nationalities.
You don't need to use any tricks there. Confidence and being interesting should do.
Negs can be implemented but they have to be MUCH more subtle. Even a small backhanded compliment can be taken severely. We have a different sense of humor which relies much less on sarcasm. To explain this, in the Russian language there is a term "cultured", which implies that you're well-mannered. That means you don't say much negative shit to women; because of this, they will react negatively and perceive you to be "uncultured", and just tell you to fuck off. I do, however, accept the fact that there are some negs that can have double meanings, and those will be much safer. Overall, I wouldn't use negs.
5-lies game and The Cube will be taken positively, but they are not really tricks. They just make you more interesting, so it's a DHV. Sort of like, "Hey, look what I can do."
Palm reading will also be taken positively since Ukrainians and Russians are more into fortune telling, astrology, and such than Americans.
To go back to my point, however, the most accepted way to meet a girl on the street, and guys there have a lot more social freedom than in America, is to come up and say, "Давайте познакомимся." (Rough translation since people use different terms: Let's introduce ourselves.) (More or less let's get acquainted.)
Either way, people there rely on confidence and charisma. Girls will be attracted to confidence and money. Girls there will appreciate money much more than in America.
If you're trying to get at Ukrainian or Russian girls in the states, just use direct game; and always pay for her dinner.
