This is probably the most important question I've ever asked on here.

I've been "in the game" for a few months. I suffer from almost paralyzing AA, but can overcome it every now and then. I use MM for mid game and end game and do quite well in those departments, but for approaching I'm still 90% AFC. If I get an IOI (which are pretty common since I'm always playing music on stage) I always go for it, but if that doesn't happen, I have something in my brain that just stops me from approaching. Yeah yeah, I know all the scientific reasons behind it, no need to get into that.

I've been recently going out with a wing during the day. He has almost no AA, to the point where I think he may be a sociopath or have some disorder. I've literally heard him say everything to any type of girl. I've seen him make out with chicks within 5 minutes of seeing them. I've seen him go down on a girl in the streets of downtown LA. Keep in mind, these are REALLY rare, though. Most of the time he gets shut down.

It's really discouraging to me to see him do that. We were on the beach in Santa Monica. He made at least 100 approaches yesterday, maybe he got 5 or 6 numbers, and maybe he'll nail ONE of them. That's a big maybe. For the most part, he just made girls laugh and walk away, and the ones who were sitting down said that they had "boyfriends."

This guy is basically a cross between Sasha Daygame and Cleveland from "Family Guy." He says crazy shit, always tries to pull girls immediately... etc.

For a guy who makes 100 approaches during the day, is that typical? 95 blowouts? Is it just that he creeps them out? Is it bad that we do high foot traffic high tourist spots like the beach where the girls are already on a pedestal?

I average 2 new girls a month (mostly girls I meet out at a friend's show or my show... and I have a high success rate with mid game since reading and becoming enlightened)... so a lot of guys wouldn't complain, but I got into this because I didn't want my sex life to depend on whether I was playing a gig or not. Do I really have to approach hundreds of girls to MAYBE sleep with one?

Okay, I would say weather a 5% success rate is normal or not would depend on the type of game, skill level, etc.
No matter how we look at it, 5% success is.. yeah success.

To the question on weather you would have to do 100 APPR, and nail one, I would have to say no. Same thing again: type of game and skill level (along with other factors such as looks, confidence, venue etc.)
In this case I would say, maybe try to find game that suits you, and maybe try to focus on details, perfecting it. target the right kind of girls and so on...

If you throw a bucket of shit at the wall... Something is bound to stick. I always say "never underestimate the power of simply opening" if your goal is to just get laid a bunch of times. As far as what quality of women he will get? Well... I won't be the judge of what you consider quality. But shitty game usually gets you shitty girls. Sounds like he is relying on pure numbers to get laid... Not to get good. It is a numbers game in the sense that the more you approach, the more you learn, the better you get. Two 5s don't make a 10 in my book. Two 10s make for a damn good time though

With making a 100 approaches and getting most of them go wrong, I'd say he has overcome AA but still doesn't know how to game well.

You can use his motivation in order to approach girls, and take it from there with whatever talk/routines you have prepared.
