Alright, so here's my status report. I can, alot of times, walk by people smile and say hi. More so at work then on the street, but I can, and do, do it from time to time. The idea of just randomly pulling people out of a crowd to chat still freaks me out though, I always feel that its not proper of me to stop people in the middle of the street, weather its a family, an old obese man, a beautiful woman, or someone whose in a rush, Are these excuses I'm making up in my head to keep from chatting with these people or is justifiable.
I seem to find my self justifying these thoughts all the time, and I see that right now I'm running on empty in my social life.
Those are your beliefs and they are limiting you. Start doing it and you will start to believe differently. People tend to not want to do things they have never done before because they don't believe that they will work. Break that habit and start believing in yourself.
