so here's my story. got to school in the caribbean, in my 2nd semester. bunch of new kids started their first semester last week and had a chance to see some of the new girls. so i'm at the bank and spot this girl looking my way. think to myself that shes pretty cute but i dont have a chance. the next day i'm walking out of the bookstore and spot her waiting on line. again shes lookin my way. i think to myself what the hell, i'll walk over there and talk to here. so i stop to stuff some books into my bag and i'm thinking how to open, but before i even think of anything a buddy of mine walks in and says whats up, starts some chitchat right in front of her. after talkin with him for a few mins i had no idea how to recover from that so i just walk out. bound to see here again, its a small school.

so i decide to get some coffee the next day and i spot here sitting with two of my buddies and one of their friends. forgot to mention that i'm asian, my 2 buddies are asian, and the girl is asian too. ha. anyway i say whatsup to them and they introduce me to here. i'm standing there talkin up some bs, all the while thinking wow these guys are quick. they are all 2nd semesters and she 1st semester. shes been here for less than a week and already hangin out with these punks.

so i introduce myself and when i look toward here i could have sworn she gave me a puppy dog look. it looked like she wanted to say to me "get me away from these dorks", but i could be wrong. anyway i start to tell these guys that this club is going to be the place to be that night and they should all check it out. definitely made it clear that i was gonna be there and they should all go. later that night i saw one the the guys from earlier in the day and asked if that girl was there, and he said to me she's mine. i laughed and said ok. spotted here while i was dancing with another girl, and didnt even look twice. later in that night i'm talkin with that same guy and i ask him what happened to that girl. he tells me go for it. i laugh again and walk away. too bad i didnt see her for the rest of the night.

ok i know that was a lot but this happened today and here is where i need help.

i got to that same coffee shop and bam. she's sittin there with another girl. i walk by, smile and say hi. start some chitchat with the girl behind the counter since she's a friend of mine. so i order my coffee and talk on the phone a sec. after i hang up i notice that shes looking my way again. i take a deep breath and step up. "hey girls, hows classes going". couldnt think of anything better. to my surprise they open up and we talk. i introduce myself to her friend and start some chit chat. all the while i focus about 70 percent of my attention/eye contact on her friend. blah blah blah, then grab my coffee. all the while she was def giving me a look and i want to say its the puppy dog look, and i feel like it is, but i cant say for sure cause i've never seen it. as i go to throw a straw wrapper away i cracked a joke, and she reached out and gave me a little slap on the arm and laughed.

was that just a kino/IOI???? now i'm starting to think that she's interested. i wasnt even hitting on here, i was just being myself pretty much. another couple of mins of total bs talk and i realized that i was late-had to pick up a buddy of mine at the other campus and get to class. at that point i said i gotta go and i would see them around. i got out of there so quickly that they pretty much said bye to my back. i now think that i should have just slowed down my exit, think i fucked up.

so now i'm wondering whats next. i'm already going out of my way to go to the other campus to study after my classes just to see if i can spot here again, but i have no idea what to say after today. any advice or insight would be great guys.

I dont think your exit would mess you up too bad. It sounds like theres already an attraction there. From there if you dont have her number already i would definitely number close her. From there get her out on your terms hanging out with friends or something. Thats something good to work on at this point.

so i saw this chick again on my way out. she was sitting with her roommate again and 2 dudes. by the way they both greeted me i didnt have any trouble approaching them. i walk over and set my gym bag down to put my laptop away. when i pick it back up she says that she has the same exact shaker as me. first thing that comes to mind is neg. i replied "arent you nosey, looking into my bag and all" she says something like i'm not nosey i just noticed that i have the same shaker as you. more chit chat, i throw her a compliment.

so she was getting some much needed school info/documents from this dude. i can clearly tell that they are using him for his info (because i am better looking than both of them). i ask whats with all the transfer of info and she tells me she doesnt have any text books and was getting the pdf versions. then she askes me if i have these books and if she could borrow them. gave her a sigh and did one of those, well if you really need them i guess i can let you borrow them. she goes great, let me get your number. now i know somethings up, cause she just number closed me, and i feel like she's just fishing for free stuff from guys/upperclassmen. at that point i'm starting to think that she's just a leech. but i decide to press on to see if i can get further. i asked i'm on my way home now, lets go get them now and i'll give you a ride home. she says something like they were planning on going to the store. i say cool, then tell them i gotta go and walk to my car and she says she would call me later. while walking to my car i see one dude with one girl in his car, and the other dude with the other girl in his car. i laugh to myself because now i know these dudes are getting used.

want to know what i could say when she calls later. i cant just give these books up for nothing. thats got nice guy written all over it. i know i can use this to my advantage, but no idea how.

so this girl called me back around 930pm. i was studying at the time and ignored her call on purpose. she left a voicemail, and sent a text msg shortly after. called her back 20 mins later. so i was calm and composed on the phone. but she seemed a little nervous. she mentioned that she wanted to go work out at the gym i go to. so told her that i would be going on thurs and she should come with. she agreed. then she asked for the books. when she did i let out a chuckle and said "sure, which ones were you looking for again?" blah blah blah, told her i would bring them when we go to the gym. then i said "let me ask you a question, what do i get for giving you these books, they are expensive you know and hard to come by on the island." she replied "ummm, my company?" i laughed and said "oh yea, well how much is your company worth? think about it and let me know" she giggled. told her i would see her on thrusday.

not sure if that whole "what do i get out of it, not sure if your company worth all that much" line was good. but i'm excited to see how she acts on thrus. what do you guys think??

also i've been told going to a gym with a girl is a good way to dhv. gonna try to build some comfort with her and maybe set up plans for this weekend. wish me luck!
