Yeah i like to think of it as the difference between Tony Stark and that other weapon dude from iron man 2, they can say the exact same things and they're both arrogant a-holes, but Tony Stark says it with a sarcastic playfulness and whats his face says it with disgust and a visible amount of envy that says "i'm trying too hard". You can really boil the effectiveness of cockiness down to one thing; do i take myself seriously? If you can joke around with yourself and you don't take yourself seriously, your ego becomes a plaything, and others will want to play with it too. (shibby) If you take yourself too seriously, your ego just inflates and inflates and you get desperate when something threatens that and you neurotically compare the size of your ego to others. (cause bigger is better right?)

I opened a 3-set in bar with the words "Hey girls, nice to see you again!" (putting my arms around the shoulders of two of them) a couple of weeks ago. They asked "Do we know each other?" I answered "Hi I´m Picun. Now we do!" After being in the set for a good half hour, joking around, dancing with them, kino escalating pretty aggressively always grinning like a madman, jokingly encouraging them to call me a perv, we started talking about the other guys in the club (they were not too impressed by most of the guys). I pointed out that most of those posers had the looks but not the balls or sthg like that, when my target says to me: "Well, ain´t you a little poser yourself". "I ain´t no poser sweetie, I really am this shitty!" was my reply. They all laughed. Kiss closed her later on and took her home in the end of the night

Most of the bars and clubs I go to are my playground, I know the guys and girls working there well, so I always have lots of social proof and preselection. Plus I´m rather handsome (not my fault, blame my mom for that), so part of my game is that I actually DLV myself a lot, always with a cocky grin... Calibration is crucial though.

Sounds great man, i'm using that one! Girls are like, emotional ADD. Bullshit them and make them feel one way and they'll forget they were supposed to feel the other about you once they find out its bullshit. Honestly, i'm only mediocre at pickup unless i'm bullshitting. Usually its always saying shit i dont mean, like how shes a silly little girl and how everything is somehow mysteriously her fault (SHAME ON YOU!) or making fun of the way they say things or doing impressions of them.... And then they always end up calling me a dick, and i'm like "so why are you calling me then?" or i'm like "yeah, i'm a dick. why are you being such a sensitive little bitch? " but i always say it in a playful way so they either get really mad and embarrassed and start pushing me or say they want to kill me. (always with the death threats lol) And then i say "you're not mad, you love me!" and then they're like "you're right. i love you ben." and i'm like "WHOA, i'm not ready for that kind of commitment. slow down there tiger." and they get even more mad and turned on. its awesome how you can put words into their mouth and then use your own words against them
