I've been toying with OKC for a while and I have had a really hard time getting responses. I simply tried this opener and it worked so I kept using it and I'm getting lots of responses. I tend to go after the smart and humble type girls. I hate clubber, high-maintainence bimbos.

Here it is:

Then you finish with a variety of inquisitive, open-ended stuff like asking or commenting on something in her profile.

The key is saying she seems sweet. That's why I put it in asterisks. I think the reason this particular compliment works is because its vague. It's not too direct as it doesn't refer to her looks. Sweet refers to her vibe and personality in general. I'm going to make this my go to compliment with girls. Too many people go with direct stuff like sexy, hot and pretty which kinda makes it look like you didn't even care to pay attention to much else other than her body.

Is that the response? Because you could go with anything written in her profile as a conversation starter or just say it a a vibe you get from her writing/pics. Makes her seem like she's got a good heart. This is just the opener. And it generates great positive responses. They're used to getting opening messages with trash guys trying too hard to be funny.

Openers are easy, it is the 2-3-4th message that becomes the problem for most on here. Now if you are a GQ looking kinda guy then girls will more quickly open up to you, but I don't see this line working extreemly well for the average guy.

"Hey Cowgirl, saddle up and lets go for a horsey ride!" And attach a pic of a Merry-go-Round! This opener will get a fair amount of responses as well I would assume. I'm just pointing out that openers are easy, most people need help with "what next?"

I've used this opener countless times. I get great responses. The girls feel flattered and I've transitioned right into great flowing conversation. I've got many n closes from this.

Online openers are everything. You have to get a response and they genuinely don't even have to respond. I person openers are less important because you're standing right there and they MUST respond.

I had a girl specifically mention to me how she gets loads of guys trying too hard to be funny they just like to be real online to weed out the scrubs.

We could debate that all day long. I feel that almost anything that will spark an emotional state in a girl will get you a response. Be it "You're an asshole" or "Thanks I think you're cute too". Openers are not the hard part, it is the next few messages that make or break the deal.

Trust me, openers are a HUGE deal online. Girls get hundreds of messages a week and only respond to a select few. Getting the first response is tough. I've even talked to a few girls about this. One HB9 mentioned how she gets loads of guys who message stupid wacky stuff she doesn't respond to because they try too hard.

Openers are less important in person because, like I said, they have to respond 100%. Online, girls get to weed out the trash. You rub em the wrong way on the open they'll ignore you no problem. Also, I can't tell you how many profiles I've seen where girls write about how they don't want to see a simple "hey you're hot" message. They even write guidelines to what openers should be!

I used to send loads of different stuff and NEVER get responses, so I got a response on this "sweet" line and I tried it again and again as it kept working more than any other opener I've sent. This is the first thing I send that generates responses at least half of the time I send it.

After the opener, It is easy because now you have a girl who is accepting of a conversation. You get plenty of time to think about what to say. So just pick something in her profile to be witty about and just pick HER brain. Be enthusiastic about learning her from there on. If she has a profile that gives enough info, you can pick at every little thing for convo and take your sweet ass time in doing so. That's the easier part.

I give you mad props for finding a good opener that works well, and not that I'm disagreeing with you, but I think your scope is a little too narrow, you seem to be looking at this big picture through your own "personal" straw and trying to apply your success to all people. You may be a GQ type dude, have the best personality in the world, and a cock like a bull. But you can't assume that everyone is like that. I am trying to say that if you are having success with your opener, that is effing awesome, but other than waiving a flag saying check me out, you can use your skill in online game to help your brother(s) understand every aspect of "online sarging" rather than just the open. I hope you realize that I am not busting your chops here...

It is just that I am under the opinion that if guys aren't getting better than 50-60% responses, they should blame most of it on their profile, not their opener. With the right Profile "Hi" will get responses, and with a shitty profile/pics the best opener in the would will not get responses.

I agree that having a great opener is Key, but I think the point that Crypto is trying to may here is, what fucking good are the keys to a Corvette, if there is no fucking gas in it.
