Hi Adlonnd,
Great weight loss tips and like to add break your meals in 5-6 small meals including snacks and prefer raw food over processed food. Get hydrated by increasing your water intake, drink green tea and avoid beverages and diet soda. Exercise daily to lose weight as exercises burns fat and boost your metabolism. Avoid eating anything before going to bed and have proper sleep.

I read all the posts. Everybody well describe weight loss tips. However, I am surprising that you don't add swimming. In my point of view swimming is the major method of weight losing.

If you want to lose weight then I will always suggest these natural ways:
Exercise
Yoga
Meditation
morning and evening walk
healthy and nutritious food
no spicy and unhealthy food
swimming
Go to bed 1 and 2 hours after dinner
Drink some mild water early in the morning

Very good. I had a thread online on a different but, admins deleted it cause they are gay and jealous. I'd add small meals spaced over a couple hours and cutting meals at 8pm.

1. Drinking more, than 6 glass of water every day.
-Drinking water has no inlfuence on the burning of fat. Sure... if you drink water instead of soda etc which you would otherwise drink, its great. And if you have trouble not over eating and being full on water makes it easier thats also good. But drinking water itself does not actually do anything. It became abit of a weightloss myth.

2. Early morning walk, is best for losing weight.
-Nope, also a myth. Exercise and mealtiming is absolute nonsense. The whole "dont eat before you sleep" "make sure you eat breakfast it starts metabolism" etc etc is all nonsense. Disregard all of this! What matters is calories in vs calories out for the daily total. Hormonal composition also plays a large role obviously but that is not relevant to this point.

3. Taking exercise, for more than one hour is effective like (Running, yoga and jogging)
-There is actually some sort of truth to this... Even though the concept of calories in vs calories out remains and thus the actual time of the workout is mostly irrelevant... It is true that exercises that last for over an hour are cardio exercises which are indeed usefull for burning calories. BUT, if you can burn the same amount of calories in 30 min with IE running, as you can in 2 hours of walking.. then there is no reason to waste 2 hours walking. The effects are basicly the same.
The concept of fat burned relative to exercise length isnt a complete myth though. But as long as you arent a professional bodybuilder on heavy stims doing fasted cardio targeting alpha dense fat to cut down to 5% bodyfat for competitions..... well... stick to the calories in vs calories out...

4. Eat balance diet, and avoid eating heavy foods like fast food.
-Diet is 99% of losing weight. Exercise is merely a tool to reduce the calories you could not avoid eating. If you burn 300 calories exercising, you could have also just have not eaten those 300 calories. Now.. i would not recommend doing this since exercising is good for your health in general, but when it comes down to purely weightloss, diet is key.
-Avoiding fast food isnt even that crucial if you track your calories. It is perfectly possible to lose weight on bacon alone. You are just more likely to eat too many calories on fast food and so yes, for casuals, it is wise to avoid it. Fast food also usually contains alot of sugar which has hormonal influence, which on their turn have influence on fat stored/fat burned.

5. Eat fresh fruits in diet and drink shake.
-Fruits are great for their micro nutrients, but they actually contain lots of sugar, and so for weightloss they are a pretty "bad" food to eat. I'd recommend to eat some fruit, but definitly not too much.
-Shake? I assume you mean protein shakes? A protein shake is literally nothing more than protein. You need to eat a certain amount of calories and protein a day. Wether you obtain this amount of protein from steak, or from shakes, is IRRELEVANT.
Protein powder is cheap however, and it is a fairly "pure" form of protein (low on the other macro nutrients) so in some sense... you could describe it as a usefull product when losing weight.

Dear god guys i went over this entire thread and i am absolutely shocked. 99% of tips given are complete nonsense and often even counter productive. (did i actually see someone recommend drinking honey (pure sugar) ???? )

For your own sake i recommend to disregard EVERYTHING that was been said in this thread. I kinda would want to go over everything being said and tell wether it is true or not and why, but that would take ages.

What dodgystyle said actually was nice though. But i wouldnt recommend SPAM for the average person. It makes you feel like shit while on it, and it isnt great healthwise in the long term.

Paleo is the best alternative for SPAM. There is no telling how many people i see at the gym get fatter although they workout twice as much as i do. If u eat clean and have everything under control there is no reason to not lose weight by dieting alone (getting definition and bulks is a whole other subject in itself). If you need help or a reference as to what im talking about just pm me and i can provide you with the info that help me in my journey (100 pounds down in a year).

Paleo is a concept based diet. It isnt a science based diet. And allthough eating low carb has many advantages, it also has disadvantages.

The OP mentioned walking and jogging as the best ways to lose weight, I disagree. Relaxed, low-paced exercise is nowhere near as good as intense shorter workouts.

It doesnt really matter for most people. Its mostly about how much calories you burn during a workout. Wether you burn those calories with low intensity cardio or with high intensity exercises doesnt really matter. If you were to take weightloss to an extreme, and are targeting alpha receptor dense fat there is actually some truth to OP's statement of low intensity being better though.

OP's method will keep you fitter but you wont look ripped. Long distance runners are always skinny and weedy looking. Sure they have super fitness, but that kind of weedy body wont get you chicks.

Actually u guys are both right....Interval training is really good for that stubborn fat or what people call "loose skin" and steady pace is great for the water weight/"new fat". Honestly i would prefer calisthenics over just running. You get the same benefits and you pretty much lift weights without going to the gym.

I have had some success in dropping weight just from making some easy habit changes. Drinking water instead of pop or other sugary drinks, exercising 3-5 times a week, and just being more aware of the quality of the food I'm getting has already permanently taken off almost 15 pounds in the last 3 months. This doesn't sound like a lot, but I'm changing habits, not introducing radical diets or workout plans, and it will be permenant, for life. My goal is to totally lose the beer gut and be around 180 by the end of the year. I know I'm starting off slow, but I'm already more motivated than ever after the initial success I'm having.
