Hey guys,

I've just started gaming a cute girl online. She's overseas at the moment, but in the summer she says she's planning to move to a city reasonably close to mine (3 hour drive). We've briefly talked about her coming to "my" town to visit, but she jokingly replied "No, I'm the girl, you should come to me!"

Even though this was just banter, I don't want to start "jumping through hoops" immediately, especially for a girl I haven't even met yet! Plus, I can't drive due to a physical problem, so should I just jokingly play upon the fact that I'm not particularly mobile, and that it'd be easier & much for fun if SHE came to ME?! That way, she gets to visit a new city, etc...

Any advice for getting her to take the bus to come to my town, but in a chilled out, jokey, no pressure way? If I'm perfectly honest, I don't really want to make the effort to go 3 hours to meet a girl I don't even know! Lazy of me, but true! If I jump through her hoops, it'll make me seem like such a pussy straight away! Haha!

Take a look at it from her perspective. She is moving to a new country, a new city, and want her to travel 3 hours to meet someone that she has never met as well. She can not only apply the same logic you have used to justify not traveling to her, but she has the "safety" issue to contend with as well.

Tease her about being all "traditional" and bust her chops for being a pain in the ass, but the right thing would be for you to make the trip, atleast for the first meet and greet.
