I'm 19 and over the past couple of years I have had hyperhidrosis. In my case, my scalp, palms, and feet sweat excessively. It doesn't have to be hot, I don't have to be exercising a lot, I just sweat. Fortunately, I don't have it as bad as some cases I've read about, and hyperhidrosis usually eventually goes away.

I have several questions:

1. If anyone else has hyperhidrosis, do you have any tips on how to stop it/hold it off(especially the scalp sweating)? I've tried sweatblock, dressing down, not eating spicy foods, etc etc etc. Any other suggestions that actually work?

2. Summer is coming up and I plan on sarging like a mofo. The problem is, it's going to be 80+ degrees at least every single day. There aren't any malls in my town, the "it" place for sarging during the day is downtown. Any recommendations for clothes to wear that will keep me cool and not sweaty as hell but will still be stylish? Shoes in general seem to be a big problem for me. It seems like when my feet are cool I don't sweat nearly as much. I've been thinking about buying Dr Schols and putting a bunch of them in the freezer and seeing if I can just stick them in my shoe but I'm not sure how long that will last.

Any input will be appreciated, thanks

I also have this issue, 6' 4" 240lbs. I thought it might have something to do with blood pressure. Currently no improvement, but I've been exercising and changing my eating habits. Also been trying the no fap thing too haha, what can it hurt? It sucks though,it seems to come and go. I'll let you know if i have any luck.

Have you ever noticed it occurring more when you are hungry or even slightly hungry? This happens to me sometimes. Anxiety sets it off too. I sweat under the arms and have clammy palms more than anything. You just have to make sure you are keeping them "vented" I guess lol. It's better to keep your arms out for better air flow than have them close to your body and have big moisture spots.

As far as correcting/mitigating it, I use clinical strength gillete. It helps some. Your case sounds a little bit more serious than me though.

[quote="Mortalghost04"] Anxiety sets it off too./quote]

I agree with this 100% . When i go on walks it happens, but I'm not overly exerting myself. Its just because I'm around a lot of people. The other day i went out to the store, as i was walking i just imagined i had a giant bubble around me and i owned that shit haha. You have to make yourself be comfortable in whatever surrounding you're in, even if you have to trick yourself into it. This seemed to help, i didn't sweat the whole walk.

I used to get awful underarm sweating when I first started going out at uni, tried so many different products to try and fix it, then a friend tipped me off about a product called driclor. It's ridiculously good and lasts for ages when you've been using it a while, you have to apply it daily to start with, but now I barely have to use it once a month.

If you do give it a go, make sure you read how to use it .. it's not like normal roll on deodorants, you put it on overnight then wash it off in the morning and that's you sorted for the day. It can itch a little to begin with, but anyone with hyperhydrosis would agree that it's well worth it.

I can't link to it as I'm a new user, but boots and amazon both stock it, the 75ml bottle I bought has lasted me over 4 years and doesn't seem to be running out anytime soon.

^This.

Look for Driclor or any Aluminum Chloride Hexahydrate stuff. You have to use it only before you sleep. Then wash it off in the morning.

What the fuck is sarging? Most people deal with symptoms, excessive sweating, and forget the root cause. My buddy has that. He sweats so much. A doctor prescribes pills cause symptoms generate pills which generate money. I watched my buddy handle this with relaxation. Everyone is different. Likely, on of the root causes is anxiety, a lack of relaxation, too much stress, poor diet, lack of exercise, not enough sex, and meaningful relationships. Try yoga, meditation, martial arts, join a gym, exercise, do a jogg, and go to the beach. Maybe try bike rides. Epsom salts are a great way to relax.

I found something that helps with the sweating issue fellas, I too heavily sweat due to overweight. If you know it's really gonna be hot that day, take a cold shower or bath in the mornings. I do not know why it works and have even tried googling why it does but for over three years doing this I no longer sweat on those hot days. I also soap down completely before turning on the water. I wanna say it has something to do with the freezing cold, but it could be the soap against dry skin. I also get told I smell like I just took a shower.

I hope this helps
