Theres this solid HB10 in one of my uni classes that up until today I hadnt noticed before. She was sitting behind me, and when I turned around to talk to a friend, I noticed her looking at me. I looked at her and smiled, and she smiled back and turned away.

Read around a bit, don't look so much for IOIs. In combination they can be informative, look more for stop signs. Just assume comfort. I wouldn't give up, I'd stay with it to better try and identify what's going on that causes it.

Also, shy girls are fun. Try to keep things as secret as possible. Touch her under the table. Look away a lot. Talk close in her ear for just a moment, then pull back and look a bit embarrassed.
