What's up everyone?

So it's time for me to finally join one of these forums. I'm 21, currently doing a semester abroad in the Netherlands. I've been here for a few months and have yet to get laid. I'm a very sociable guy who can talk your ear off, have slept with 12 women (some not so great looking), but feel like I could be doing a lot better. I read the Neil Strauss book, and while I definitely learned from it and it opened up my eyes to this whole world, I simply couldn't find myself repeating some of his tricks directly.

I guess just simply doing exactly what someone else does, that I don't feel comfortable with at all and is outside my personality, so to speak, feels a little unauthentic or phony. My biggest question is, how do you all learn and implement the game without losing track of your personality? Or at least, not feel like you are just a pussy robot. Because I am definitely willing to learn, as much as I may sound a little resistant at first.

To elaborate a little more, I've found the best success by making fun of girls and disputing most things that they say over and over again. But I never really feel comfortable doing it, I just love the end result. I'm wondering if there may be a better way, and I'm here to figure that out.
