Every BDSM relationship is different. My girlfriend is very submissive. We incorporate a lot of BDSM elements into our relationship, but I don't go too overboard. I've made a point to figure out the stuff I like and the stuff she likes and I go with that. I do not give assignments. For me, it's more about keeping sex entertaining (for both of us) and fulfilling fantasies. Boring sex is death to a long-term relationship.

/also, light the candle and slowly drip the wax along her body.. start with parts of her body that are less sensitive. You can also start with candles that are specially made to not burn as hot.
