Texting a girl at weekend and she is my EX girlfriend who is now a mate i see every now and then but lately we been hanging round more again ive been raising the kino but only friendly stuff like touching her lower back as we walk through doors and play fight slapping etc...

at weekend a friend stole my phone and sent her this "Do you want come round and watch a movie and smoke some shisha:) " (which is like a water pipe completely legal for the record lol )

her reply was this (and it was the faces used that got me???) : "I'm staying at Chloes tonight :/ maybe another night "

My friend still pretending to be me : " That's cool have a good night let me know about another night "

her: Will do

Is this IOI's or she just being friendly that face makes it seem like she was almost disappointed she was staying at her mates and couldnt come? then the wink has to be an IOI surely???

Don't read too much into it. Probably you could develop it into something, but with an ex it's a big difference between maybe and yes. Remember, there is a reason you broke up. Did something change to change the reason? If not, stay broken up.

yea we broke up because i lost a family member close to me, and a few months after my head being all over the place and having treating her like shit tbh found out another close family member passed away, we got into a big argument and i told her i wanted to take a break, i almost instantly thought shit that was stupid but it was "too little to late" her words .....

about a week after breaking up i was nearly hit by a car myself and very nearly killed and kinda thought right that's it im getting what i want and living my life to the full....and yes she is what i want...so ive just been living she has been around with me and my mates a few times not many and then saturday night took her to a club i was just being taxi we got there she went her way me and my mates went our way and she kept texting me that night to which i ignored, was having to much fun tbh....

and then sunday this happens?

Geesh, why don't you just tell her how you feel? Anybody should be able to understand the trauma of death. It's especially hard on younger guys who struggle with dealing with grief.

I'd just tell her. Say you are still trying to deal with those things, but you realize you have some growing up to do, but it is clear that you want her presence in your life.

If you want a woman's POV - she was saying "no" in a nice way. If she really did want to see you but was committed to the friend, she would have made a point of suggesting a day or time to meet up. She would secure the plans. At best, she's being cautious, and since you admitted to treating her like shit, she has a right to.

My advice - don't linger around her in some undefined capacity. You'll end up in the friend zone. Tell her how you feel and what you want, but also that you understand if she needs time to consider it and trust you again. Be clear and honest without pressure - that's always the best way.

Best of luck, and I hope your fortunes turn around. Sounds like you've had a tough time lately.

First off I know I'm new here, but I've never been an AFC. I'm here to improve my game as well as you..lol but here it is! Was her response an IOI or include any? I would say yes It could be an act of sincerity, but I highly doubt it. Just don't give the girl the power/option to contact you because if she's a HB then she most likely won't. Your friend actually made you look good. hehe just be careful with contacting her a second time and sounding needy

I don't think the friend did you any good at all after the first text.

"That's cool have a good night let me know about another night" is not terrible, but it did put her in the power position. I think a better response would have been something along the lines of "I didn't mean tonight dork! I'm out with friends. Let's do it Tuesday, you bring the popcorn!" If she refuses the Tuesday for whatever reason but does not offer an alternative, say "Ok" and move on. If she wants to see you, she will make a suggestion for a meeting.
