I'm a rAFC. My main sticking point seems to be kiss closing at this point in my game.
The girl I was with last night knew me back when I was a total AFC. She always thought I was fun to be around, but I lacked confidence, so she rejected me once. Anyway, we ended up hanging out at a mutual friend's house last night. Our friend ended up being really sick and took a nap leaving the two of us alone. We got to talking about random stuff like makeup. She was talking about how sometimes eye shadow looks good from far away but terrible up close. I was about 10 feet away so I asked, "is yours hideous looking up close too?" She laughed and said "yeah a little bit." So I said, "Come over here, I wanna see." She told me no and to go to her (Pretty sure it was a shit test). I smiled and said, "No, you gotta come over here!" So she came over and I said "Wow, that really is hideous." I got away with that because she knows I like to joke about being a huge asshole.

Anyway, she sat next to me and looked at pictures of stars and she wanted my opinion on which ones I thought were hot. I took that as an IOI.

It came clear that our friend was gonna be sick all night. Right then, my best friend called and said he was going to the Bioshock Infinite (video game) midnight release. I said I'd go with him. The girl asked where I was going. I told her it was a date with my bro. We joked about me being gay for a little. That might have been an IOI. Then I told her it was just a midnight release for a game and she asked if she could come with. Possibly an IOI because she doesn't even like video games.

While we were in the car it was just playful talking and light kino. I touched her hair and commented on how soft it was. Stuff like that. Otherwise I just kept a playful personality up. Also, she was wearing my sweatpants because she didn't want to go out in the cold in just her dress.

Then we met up with my best friend, Mike. The three of us piled in his car waiting for midnight to role around. I made the conversation mostly between Mike and I, and pulling the girl into it every now and then. He told some stories about me and why my nickname is "Ice" in that group of friends. I told some stories. It was just innocent talking. I made some evil jokes that got her to "slap" me playfully a couple times.

Then it was just me and her again after the game release. We got some Steak and Shake and headed back to my place. In the car there was some light kino where I pretended to steal her hand for trying to tickle me. She didn't pull away so I took it as an IOI.

We ate back at my place while watching How I met your mother on TV. Both of us love that show. We talked about how it's my goal in life to grow up to be like Barney (womanizing player from the show). She laughed and asked "So it's your goal to just sleep with all the girls you possibly can." Knowing she'd take it jokingly even though it's true, I just smiled and said "Yup." She laughed again and said "You're not supposed to admit to that, you know?" I just used my body language to say I didn't really care. Then I put my arm around her and we cuddled a bit. She turned her head to face me a couple times without saying anything and gave me a cutesy look. Took it as an IOI. Almost like she was telling me "ESCALATE THIS, DOUCHE." I psyched myself out because she had already rejected me before I discovered the community. We finished the episode and I took her home.

On the way there I did an ESP routine I think Mystery taught. Can't remember. Basically we got on the topic of ESP and I jumped on it. I asked her if she believed in it. She didn't. I then did the routine, "The cool thing about imagination is it's like writing stuff down on a chalkboard. And we both have it. I can read your chalkboard as if it were my own imagination. Think of a number between 1 and 4." "Okay" "3." She looked shocked. I turned to her and she definitely had what Style calls the puppy dog eyes. I risked it and went for the gold, "Now pick a number between 1 and 10." "Okay" "7." "NOPE! Haha It was 3 again." I just said, "Meh, 1 for 2 ain't bad." She still seemed really interested. I dropped her off and left. Kicking myself in the face the entire time for not making a kiss close (very unsafe while driving. Especially for a manual transmission.)

She's a great girl that I'm really interested in, but if it doesn't work out at least I got some practice in on some material and kino escalation. I still beat myself up for not k closing. I know of Mystery's, "Would you like to kiss me?" routine, but what are any other options that seem to work well?

From what I see your game was pretty good and was working but man you gotta close!! I can't stress it enough...I used to use mysterys "would you like me to kiss you" it worked pretty good for me, there is another routine called triangle gazing basically you look into her left eye then her lips then her right eye then go for the kiss if you do it right it will definitely work, but above all you should always just go in for it no matter what if she says no u could always try again another time it's simple. Just try not to fall into ljbf because u will if you wait too long to make a move and believe me the friend zone is a dangerous place lol I hope that helped!

Thanks for your reply, Skaircro! Yeah, I always had some amount of raw talent. I'm good at talking and making conversation, it was just my tact that was way off before finding this community. I used to be the super nice guy and was too afraid to do any kino. A while back I was in the ljbf zone with her. We cut off almost all ties for a few months and in that time is when I learned about all my mistakes here, from The Game by Style, and Mystery Method tapes. I'm still beating myself a little for not k closing, but oh well. Past is past. Next time we hang out I for sure will. In the meantime, I'm just gonna continue practicing.

The triangle method is interesting though. I was always curious if there was some kind of line after the triangle. But you made it sound like you just go for it? Woo, AFC voice kicking in. I'll try it on a random girl before the aforementioned girl from last night.
