so a girl who works for another company i deal with regularly seemed to be flirting by email one day. i don't know her that well and have only spoken to her a few times. i didnt even know who she was when she added me on facebook. she's a part time model. 6feet tall and a definite HB9.

to cut a long story short i told her colleague she would be scared of me. the girl in question emailed shortly after to say she wouldn't be. i replied there would be only one way to find out and told her to give me her number and i would call her sometime. she replied saying she didn't know her number (which i thought strange) and asked me to give her mine and she would text me.

having read that girls do this to test you i replied 'that old chestnut' but did not give her my number. she didnt reply and has since gone quiet. i havent made any advances on her since.

so. shit test or should i have given my number?

It wasn't even a shit test. She was bored and had nobody to talk to. She was texting, but she didn't know her phone number. She couldn't have looked in the phone. Sure, sure.

You did good not to give her your number. That was her testing your frame/domination. However, "that old chestnut" is some fucking weird reply. The hell is that supposed to mean? I'd have just been direct and said "nope, I make the rules, and the rules say YOU need to give me YOUR number. Let me know when you want to play along "

dunno. i didn't see her response until the next day as id already left the office the previous night.

guess it was my way of saying - 'i don't believe you don't know your own telephone number' whilst trying to be breezy....dominance has never been my strong point. something to work on.
