Hey guys, so here's the deal. A while ago I asked some girl out and now were "official" she's great. She cares, she's pretty cute (of course), and I like spending time with her. But here's my issue, if you've ever been in a relationship you know that for some reason people tend to hit on you and your girlfriend a lot more (some people I know completely ignored her up until now).

My problem is that sometimes when guys flirt with her or try to game her I do feel jealousy. Not a lot but it bugs me because I know jealousy is a sign of insecurity, and I want to get rid of these feelings. Anybody got any advice?

Well dude, I'll tell you the jealousy goes away after you have more women in your life. I've been dating a stripper for about 4 months. Think I get a little jealous? lol but she knows and I know that I can get another woman if I want. Granted, I do value our relationship but she knows that if she gets to a point where she isn't faithful, shes not going to have me. You really can never tell if a girl is cheating on you (i mean unless someone blows a load inside of her and... well you get my idea. That's nasty.) but you just have to learn how to judge peoples character. Yes, the jealousy bothers me sometimes... But I know that she is at work right now... Having guys worship her, throwing money and compliments at her... and she is STILL going to come over to my house at 4 am when she gets off... and expect ME to fuck her brains out. It's kind of a cool feeling to have what every other guy wants once you really think about it.

Don't sweat it dude. Theres 7.2 billion people on this planet. Even if she is "1 in a million" ... numbers don't lie, there's still 3599 other ones out there JUST LIKE HER.

author, you want to get rid of jealousy feelings. This is your question.
You say that jealousy is a sign of insecurity. This is ok definition. General sense one. But to be more precice jealousy is a sign of love. You know you are in love when you are jealous. When we love someone we want them to be only with us and we do not want to share. You can't get rid of jealousy feelings while being in relationship with her. You simply can't. These two things do not go along together. You will not like the answer because to get rid of jealousy feelings you will have to be single. After a while the jealousy feelings will not be there.
This is very typical. I felt jealous when i was in relationship. It is common to every guy who is in love. You can pretend to act cool, but it's still going to be there until you are with her. And the jealousy will grow the longer you are with her, until you get pissed. I hope I made my point clear.

Insecurity is simply a sign that you are not confident enough to love yourself and you need an external stimuli like a relationship to keep you happy. You are asking someone to make you happy and in love and when you see that girl is being hit but other guys however, you will feel threatened in some way. Work on yourself and love yourself by involving in community work and assistance of others. Confidence and love are gained by helping others to a point that if your girl is texting some dude, you simply don't care. You don't need her to make you happy except of course getting some pussy. But that comes naturally as she loves you and is giving you the pleasure you are meant to get.

The thing is though I don't love her. I'm not really inlove with her either. I mean I've technically cheated on her at least like twice (I know I'm an asshole). I wouldn't really mind being single either I just don't like jealousy. I want to know how to either get rid of it, or how to control it like I do with fear. I'm positive jealousy isn't a sign of love, whenever jealousy is present in a relationship it can't work. There needs to be trust and love not jealousy.
