Really confused here - normally I can figure out what is going on but....looking for thoughts

Met a girl in a bar, took her dancing after- great time, got phone number, made out, 6 of 7 calls/txts in the next few days and arranged lunch date. Great so far.

She turns up for lunch, great chemistry, talk for hours lots of touching all the usual stuff, we end up turning lunch into evening drinks - we started at 1pm and ended the evening around 7pm. Taking her home long goodbyes but no invite in, but with her asking me to promise to call her the next day. Which I did....

Now got answerphone and still nothing, no txts, no calls, can I really have misread this so wrong, normally wouldnt call more than twice but she is really great. I always feel going for a third call serves no purpose as she knows I am interested and knows where to find me. Probably answered my own question here, but any thoughts welcome

Did you kiss her on the date? If not, she may not have had as good a time as you had. If you did, there could still be plenty of circumstantial reasons for her not to call you back immediately. How long has it been?

Yes I Kissed her, in total 8 times during the date and saying goodbye. Its been 4 days so far.

I will try one more time and invite to a party thats happening at the weekend. Just seems a bit strange to get no reply at all
