Well 2 days ago, I decided to risk it on fb chat.. Since she lives an hot away I only see her a couple times/mo
This was our convo:
Me: Hey (name), you kept coming up on my friends I might know lol.. So I added you. Also noticed your birthday was a coupe weeks ago... Happy late Birthday!
HB: Well cool haha
And yes it was. Thank you!
Me: Get anything good?!
HB: I did. I got a new coffee maker and a phone case and some nail polish.
Me: Wait, I think I remember you talking about the coffee maker? A Keurig right?
(Next Day)
HB: Yes! I love it!
Me: Nice! So when do I get to come get some of it!
(read, no reply)
Do I message her again at a later time, or leave it?

i do think you sent that message too soon. you should massage the conversation first. keep it light and once you have some common ground then you can start joking about going around to hers and grabbing coffee (or anything else for that matter).
i'm not so great at online game but i can see that you have jumped in too soon with this one.
