I've heard a lot about people using this routine but Google and searching this forum have shown minimal results. Basically the one article I read that actually references this routine is

For anyone too lazy to read, the gist of it is:
*Show her you understand her strength, and relate it to a key strength you have;
*Show her you understand why other people are intimidated by her strength (which implies you’re not); and
*Show her you understand how it comes at a price, hurts sometimes, and other people can’t see that.

Can anyone help come up with a more concrete example of how to apply this routine? Thanks!

This actually looks allot like the James Marshall technique.

Ask her about her hobbies and aspirations and try to connect.
Emotional: "Hoe does she feel when she does this"
Character: "What kind of girl does this?"
Motivation: "Why does she do this?"

So if she says: i climb mountains.
I reply: oh, that's awesome! That feelig when you're all the way up there is great right?

Somethig like that!
