It all depends on the type of girl she is if she seems to enjoy the class, you guys have together, show her the intellectual side and make her laugh a little by little. Soon enough she will view you as a smart guy with a sense of humor. If she has friends she will want to talk about you (positively if your jokes are funny) this is indirective at first but overtime make eye contact after a good joke. By this time she is aware of your existence even more. Pull her to the side after class and start talking to her.
