Barney Stinson would have lived a pretty miserable life in reality and probably had no friends . . . But nevertheless, he's probably got a few qualities that can be looked in to.

I've always been a fan of:

Dane Cook in "My Best Friend's Girl"

LOL at whoever said Patrick Jane from The Mentalist. He isn't really alpha, and the man may not be aware of "the game", but he is already the champion. He definitely knows his stuff. Wonder if Derren Brown has any trouble getting laid.

Idk how many of you listen to rap but

Lil wayne (he's a little 5'4 midget with dreads but his charisma is un-fuckin-believable, he's in a constant animal like sexual state & knows exactly how to act to turn girls on)
Fabolous
Jay Z
Drake
Trey Songz
Wiz Khalifa

^ Rap & Rnb is pretty much based on charisma & those dudes are the top tier for it right now, and half of them aren't even that attractive, there charisma just overcompensates for their looks, or lack there of. (Lil wayne, Jay Z & Wiz lol)

Robert downey Jr in iron man
Vincent chase
Diddy (he's so composed all the time... But I'd prolly be too if I was sitting on 400 million)
Eddie Murphy.. In eddie murphy RAW woah..

Anything with Jude Law, Alfie being the obvious one.
He's just so charming and witty. I think that Sleuth has the best example of frame control I've ever seen in my life. The entire movie is based around framing, and the dialogue is immaculate. Easily one of my favorite movies ever (haven't seen the original, sure it's top-class).

How so?

Besides the fact that he's a major a**hole, he seems like a really fun guy to be around.

In this thread - people imagining actors working in a production written by a script writer is a good reference point for actual human social interaction.

Why not? Rather than explaining in text how should one act you can point to some movie. Its your written text versus someone's else text + acted in the movie for better understanding.

How about James "Sawyer" Ford (Josh Holloway) in the TV series Lost.
