hey guys,

ok, so I work in the automotive business right, for the past week or so have been dealing with this HB 8 and been picking up on certain IOI's as shes been responding well to my subtle "work game". However it is hard to tell if she is interested or just responding in a friendly manner (i haven't seen her out, so I dont know what she really is like).

so the other day, I kindly offered her a lift from the office since she had some business to attend to and no way of getting home ( plus it was raining, and I dont think she wanted to walk in the rain, i know, i was being nice huh? ;) while we were driving she asked if i was going out that weekend, conversation flowed well. On my next "work related" phone call i had to give her , the topic of going out on the weekend came up and again and i had her giggling and what not..

now im generally interested in this girl and i think she may be after more flirting and talking, however, my problem is, how do i cross the fine line from "dude hows helping her get a car" to dude "who ive got a date with this weekend?? " obviously i have her number cos it was my job to do so.. im afraid she might get creeped out if i text her and cross that fine line between work and play... she has my number, i have hers, few texts have gone back and forth (work related and cheeky "dont have too much fun this weekend" enders) but i not sure how to transition to where i want to be

can you see my dilemma?

thanks heaps,

Hello VisionEighty8,

Once I was with a colleague of mine for a while and after the things were not going well, we had to break up...
After the break up, it was a bit tough to work with her in the same company, fortunately no one in office knew about it , but still I was feeling a bit uncomfortable, and there were several instances that me and her was avoiding each other, which was not very convenient...
Generally I do not recommend dating your co-worker,
But we all know there are a lot of fishes outside our work environment...
Hope my experience was informative...

Cheers

Hi Luck luke 1981

thanks for the advice much appreciated, i can definately see how that can get quite messy really quickly!

however, my situation is little different, i got this girls number through means of doing my job, (so she doesnt work with me) and I would like to use this number to possibly set up something, but am worried she will think its creepy that a gy she got a car off is now using her number to sarge her? see what i mean about the fine line between work and play?

thanks,

VisionEighty8
