thanks bro. I just did round 1 of Sparring in the Field yesterday. I'm writing up my experience now.

Date : 1-March-2013
Venues: Club with a Rooptop and typical loud Ambience

Sets Opened: 2
Number Closes: 0

Set 1 was two girls (an HB8 and a HB7) who were seated and talking to each other.
Set 2 was three girls (2 HB6s and a mediocre one) who were standing and talking.

So I don't bore you guys with too much detail, i'll just give a breakdown on one set.

BREAKDOWN:

Clothing Style:Tailored Shirt, Skinny Jeans and business shoes. I didn't peacock or have Lock-In Props.

Set 1

A1 - Opener

I was nervous and visually shakey. It was the first time I EVER approached two hot girls while sober. Despite this, A1 actually went pretty well

Me: "Good evening ladies, I have to head off with my crew in a sec but I want your opinion on something"
<Both girls smiled and made eye contact>
HB8: "Sure, go for it!"
Me: "me and my group were arguing about this. Do you think the human mind and our decisions are based more on emotion or logic?"
HB7: "hehehehe ok, I'd say it's more logical"
HB8: "I'd say emotional, but it really depends on the context"
HB8 then stroked her hair and looked me down-and-up.

I didn't throw any Negs. But I tried to take it to the next step

A2 - Female To Male Attraction

Me: "ok, I'd like to play a game with you <pointed to HB7>. I ask you 5 questions and all you have to do to win, is answer them wrong. This game shows that our minds are based on emotion not logic"
HB7: "Ok yep "
Me: "now if you win, you win a drink for you and your friend, but if you lose, you buy me a drink"
HB7: "ummm nah no deal hehehehehe"
Me: "well in that case, goodbye, I've got to get back to my group"


And then I walked off. Nothing further happened. I actually walked off moreso because I was nervous as a mofo. The aim was to get into the 5 questions game.

When she said 'no deal', was this a Shit test she threw at me? Or was it because I came off as sneaky or something? And also how could I have responded to keep things going, in this case? I know I could've just said something like "ok if you lose, well then you just suck" but i didn't want to come off as needy or desperate that I'm SPAM 2 drinks.

Any feedback would be much appreciated.


Overall, I was happy that I addressed Approach Anxiety. I was also Amazed that the False Time Constraint and Body-Rocking on Opening made the two sets receptive. In the past, when I've gone up to girls and said something like "heyy, how're you doing", they'd just walk off without even talking.

Good job on approaching your first set! I did my first set about 3 months ago and it gets easier, trust me.

I personally think she just didn't want to pay for a drink if she lost. I think you can change the reward to something else that is a little more playful or at least until they are attracted to you a bit more because a drink usually represents more time spent and I believe they didn't wanna commit to that quite yet.

Venues: BBQ / Picnic. 52 people were there. I only knew one guy (the host).

Good news is I got a number close from an HB8 and she gave me mild IOIs the whole time and some Kino.

Bad news is, when I added her on facebook, I noticed that she's in a relationship. She made NO mention of her boyfriend. Fuck, I feel violated... none the less, it was a good day of gaming.

BREAKDOWN

Clothing Style: Summer Casual, Tight shirt and board shorts. Well groomed.

I went straight in, got my food and then went sat down with the First set in Sight. Two middle aged couples.
I spoke to them for a bit, and asked if they knew the others. They didn't.
I then opened the set sitting on my other side and Merged the two together (second set was 3 guys).

The guys from Set 2 and I went back to the food table to get some more food.
They went back. At the table, I opened the Set 3. This had a target (HB8), an old lady and an old man.

A1 - Opener

Me: hey guys, this cake is delicious. Haven't had Jamaican Rum Cake in a long time.
How's the pie?

They started talking. I didn't even acknowledge the girl at this point, just the two old people.
I realized in a situation like this, people had their guard down and Hooking was easy.

A2 - Female to Male Attraction

Me: I gave a DHV story about a Jungle Safari and strange things that happened
Old Couple: "Wow, what an experience. At my age (woman says), I still haven't been on such an adventure"
Me > Old couple: Definitely do one..etc.etc.
Me > Target: But for you, I'd recommend you go fully vaccinated. People with low immunity are at high risk of gastro or other sicknesses in that area.<this was a Major Neg>
Target: Ohh wha.. huh, me? [Speechless face]
Old Couple: haha
Me: lol Relax, I'm just saying people in general need to take the precaution. Anyone who's well travelled would know that.

Me: Gave another DHV story conveying Pre-Selection and Adventure
Target started to move in closer, feet towards me and Stroked her hair once.

A3 - Male to Female Attraction

Old couple went off to sit down.
Target was still chatting to me

Me: What do you for fun, etc.etc.'
Her: <spoke for ages, got close>
Me: Hey come on, let's go meet some of the others.

Set 4 was a group of women who were not target material for me.

Me > Set4: More DHV
Target saw my pre-selection. Then the Target sat basically between me and them (lol yes, wanting my attention)

Me > Set4: Hey this is [Targer Name], she's into [all the stuff that the target told me]




Comfort

We spent about 2 hours walking around and talking, we got to a stage of holding hands for a few minutes.
She was stroking her hair a few times. She asked me how old I was to which, I asked her to guess etc.

Then when the picnic was finishing, we traded details and I set up a possible date. Then we cheek kissed and departed.

She did not mention about her boyfriend at any point. I only knew this from looking at her facebook.


Overall I was happy as I've now progessed an extra step in the game.
