Hey everyone, so I'm currently a freshman in college trying to meet more girls and what not. I'm decent at talking to girls at bars/parties and getting phone numbers. However, I'm not sure what to do with those numbers. Should I call her the next morning or wait a week? Should I ask her if she wants to go to a party with me the next night? The problem is, I'm afraid the girl only gave me her number since she was drunk and that she won't be interested in me when she is sober. I also have awkward encounters with people I met while drinking, which deters me from trying many of the times. Advice?

How are your interactions with these girls when you meet them? How drunk are you? How drunk is she?

Assuming she wasn't shithoused and you ran decent game and got her interest, you can either text her something funny as soon as you get her # while you're still talking with her, wait a couple hours to text her, or text her the next morning. Don't wait any longer tho; this is college and she's an attractive girl, so she's going to be getting hit up by guys all the time. I wouldn't rely on texting tho... texting has gotten me nothing but a ton of flakes. Move it to phone ASAP, the sound of your voice will do several days' worth of texting in the space of 20 minutes.

If you met these girls when they were hammered, then chances are they're not going to be as receptive to you the next day when they're sober. Besides, if they're that hammered you should be trying to close them that same night. When a girl is drunk, it's like giving steroids to your game and you can get away with a lot more, a lot sooner.

I'm in a similar situation. If I cannot bring them back to my place the same night, I usually just flirt over text the next day. I end the conversation with an invitation to some event. I could benefit from advice.

Why were the encounters awkward when you'd met them for the 2nd time? You need to make sure that your high energy isn't just something you use to open. If she gave you her number without being paraletic, and it wasn't a fake, she's interested in the high energy social guy she met in the club, not the cultured Indie kit reading poetry with a starbucks

My usual rule is the 3 day rule though. Unless you had a great encounter first time around. If it felt like there was a real genuine connection, maybe give her a call the following afternoon, but have something lined up that you're definitely doing that evening. Invite her to it and be happy for a no as it's short notice and show it doesn't affect you. Be forward and introduce what you're doing before asking what she's doing. Keep it short and sweet. If you got a number from a girl within 30 seconds or if it was just too easy, a text will suffice. I wouldn't expect a call from someone I'd spoken to for less than a minute previously.

Solid Advice. I usually ask for her number as a last resort if I cannot bring her back to my place. A lot of the time I will Isolate in the club, and often make-out with the target, and yet when I attempt to transition back to my place I get shut down. Since I am usually with friends at the club, (girls and guys) My usual invitation is to go back to my place for shots, hookah, (fill in after party activity here). Any suggestions for better success, at this point I am assuming that I am either not building enough comfort, or familiarizing the target(s) enough with my friends.
