Hi, I'm using online game quite a bit. Starting to get better replies...however the transition from online messages to facebook/and or numbers is getting difficult.

I build comfort, then I proceed to give my facebook link. She either refuses to message back when I do, or refuses to add me. How else do you get to know a person better? For example, about a month ago, I had a brilliant conversation with a HB, genuine same interests etc. We must have spoke on POF nearly every day for about a week, I give her my facebook addy. No reply, even though she's online. 2 weeks later, she's online and I message her again. She asks me to give me my facebook link because she can't be bothered to find it. It put me off messaging her again.

Another thing I'm having issue is, I've chatted to a different girl from POF, got her on my facebook, we have a good chat for two days, then gave her my number and say I have to go (ending the conversation on a high note). She says "oooh thanks!, night night x"

She hasn't messaged me since. I don't want to message her and say "Hey, where's my text" etc because that's incredibly DLV and insecure. I don't want to have to initiate a conversation with her on facebook again.

Stop giving out your information and get hers. Giving out your info takes away the initiative from your hands, and it shows you're not ready to risk a potential rejection by asking hers. Besides, don't ask her, just tell her "Give me your number and we'll text". With a little smiley face maybe.

for a start, STOP giving her your details, it looks weak and needy. and why do you want to add them to facebook anyhow?

What usually works for me is this: After exchanging a few messages, i always say :Hey what's your number? it beats logging in and out of here all the time:)". 9 times out of 10 they give me the number. The amount of messages you need to exchange varies on the girl and of course you need to have built enough comfort for them to give you the number..... but yeh, try that and see if it works!
