So i have ran this one before and i have gotten some good responses from it. Let me know what you think here is the story.

"My good friend just broke up with her boyfriend. Turns out he was cheating on her. She is really upset and all she does is work and take care of her son. Now I am going to buy the son a gift because he cool kid and he does not like seeing his mom upset. My question is if you were her, what gift would you want in order to cheer yourself up?"

Something to note:
If I have a bag from say a video game store for example. When I mention the gift for the kid i gesture to the bag. Just a little detail.

Try it! I would leave the cheating on her part out of it... Don't want to trigger any negative emotions. Talking about cheating as an opener might not be the best idea. Looks solid... However, I would say this would be more of an opener than a story. You can definitely transition pretty easy off this tho. Nice work.
