Hey, I've managed to get my hands on the game and have already watched most of the dvds on youtube and, as advised, done as much field work as possible!

So far I'm really impressed and seem to be getting great results just by taking things piece by simple piece. OPEN, VALUE, EMOTIONAL, PHYSICAL. However, improvisation wise I'm not great so ive been learning all of the fun ice breaking techniques like magic, five questions game ect. My particular favorite being THE CUBE!

On that last note my first reason for signing up today was a question I have relating to the cube...If the horse represents the ideal man in a females life, does it represent the ideal female in a males life? or should it be some other sort of symbolic animal?

Looking forward to a reply.

Many thanks,
Salvador.

I was wondering to same thing so I ran a few friendly routines on guy friends as demonstration before I explained the actual routine to them..

Bottom line, I discovered that the idea of the horse serving as the representation of an ideal female in a male's life in pretty inaccurate. A couple of my friends even referred to the horse as a "he" when they were describing it, and there is no doubt that they're straight lol.

Try going with a cat. I thought that would be the most logical choice and so tried it on a few guy pals. Responses just seemed to be a little more accurate.

Instead of thinking about the exact animal and what it represents to it's full extent. You should remember it is a cold read.
Cold reads are just taking what the person says and making it into a positive for you. While doing the cube, if your getting reactions like your so right about that she is complying. Meaning it is more of a yes ladder. And she is falling into a yes pattern. This makes it harder for her to say no.
It doesn't really matter the fact that she says a white horse a unicorn a mustang or even a Clydesdale. What matters is how you interpret it so she can be like yeah that's true. By the end you really don't know that much about the girl with the cube because your just making up everything in the positive.
Yet it gives the illusion that you know her. Thats the point of a cold read. Thats why cube is so good. If you want to know more about the cube in general there is a huge book called the cube.

I'm not familiar with The Cube. You have a link to some info?
