A lot of girls read the book to "try" to avoid being picked up or at least to know the signs of when a guy is interested.

Here's a question for you . . . Why would a guy pick up a chick's magazine and read it? Guys, you know you do it! It's because there's tidbits of information in there that gives them insight of the other sexes perspective.

What's so wrong with me picking up this book and reading it? You know, I would actually like to learn what moves guys use to pick up girls. Mabye that's what your chick friend is doing. You just got to get PAST all that and come up with your OWN stuff. If you don't want to read the book, then don't. But I'm telling you, you're passing up some valueable tidbits. YOU might not get a lot from the book, but I'm sure you can read it and then catch some thing and think "Oh, yeah!"

I was gunna start it when My classes begin the 21st of this month.

I was reading it because my mom is a hairsylist she has a bunch of mags like that lying around and it was about the book the game so it was valuable read for me, to see how girls react to this tuff once thy read the boock

I'm going to, for the moment, shy away from the discussion if women should read literature about the game... or if the mainstream books are even useful because women have a greater chance of bumping into them at the bookstore. My stance on it is quite clear. Good words by the Tripps.

As far as this book goes, it's in two parts. The black book is the "dark" side of the game, as Neil described it at the book signing I went to this week. It's filled with different stories of what "not to do" (Style said this on Dave N.'s show.) The white book is the 30 day challenge to get over AA and start picking up quality girls.

The reason to buy this book: Yes, Style's techniques are more available for women to read. However, that shouldn't stop you from doing research on the most successful author in OUR community. One of the main problems I see with newer guys in the community (and not the forum.. the community) is that they blow off knowing the founding theories and history of PU. It's a sign of immaturity and narcissism, in my humble opinion.

Style's intuitive view on his frame and how long-term gaming affects you are right on the money. If you don't buy it for the "techniques," buy it as a view into one of the most successful PUAs in the world (we all know how many times he was ranked #1 on Thundercat's list.) Research is sexy, guys.

Screw it. I am going to state a bit of my opinion here:
Girls are going to be reading this stuff. It's a moot point to argue if they should or should not. You can't stop it. That's where the community is heading nowadays. Every PUA out there who is worth his salt should be reading these "mainstream" books so that they know what the hell is going on when they talk to a girl who has read "The Game" or "The Rules of the Game." How embarrassing would it be if a women who picked up one of these books at a book store and read through a chapter called you out on something and you didn't even catch her reference... because you were too high-and-mighty to read it yourself. Get with the program, fellas.

There are some girls out there that do need help with getting a BF. I know its so much easier for a girl to go out an get a fella. Some are not dating the type of men they want and can only pull the dodgey ones and others i know have been single for ages but useaully its just because they're being fussy. Some are just shy.

guys have problem getting girls, girls have problems getting the "RIGHT" guy(as in high status males aren't attracted to them).
