It is a dark place, now I realize just how dark it was. It is a place sexually deprived psychopaths flock together to… the place where they view people as objects, tools, machines, or means to get to the goal. A way for them to get laid, but most importantly prove themselves their self worth. It really is a terrible place to learn advice on how to deal with people...Place where people play games, and try to learn the game instead of seeing through the bullshit. Place where people scheme, plan, as if unconsciously preparing for something evil. I hope the day comes for you when you realize how unimportant it is. If you were in love, you might have a chance...just don't repeat my mistake, don't view love as a game. Sure there are social games and social roles that people play and may be certain scenarios play out. Hypocrisy indeed exists. It doesn't mean you have to be part of it. You can genuinely be yourself. be honest, may be overly nice may be assholish may be super classy. If you learn to be, I believe, you won't need anything else.

^ that is the old school community, fake alphas/needy overcompensating alphas, value base game, mystery method and the such... The new school community is very direct, honest to the point, mainly natural game....Actually most guys that play the "games" you mentioned, don't do very well and do not lay a lot, and if they met a girl would not be able to keep her for more than couple of months when in a relationship.

New school: Steve Jabba, 60 yoc, Models by Mark Manson, Aaron Sleazy, Gunwitch, Blackdragon, etc... The Community is moving in the right direction...

It is what you make it. A lot of people come here as a result of being in a dark anti-social state. So the community then takes on the complexion of those who comprise it. Some acquire knowledge and abuse it. Others learn and grow and move on away from the community. Yet others stay involved and continue to contribute to it in a meaningful and positive way.

The community is all about choice. Choose who and what you want to be, and whom you want to be with.

I agree with this. I think you can put a few categories of people from the community:

- The PUA's who have been in the game for a long time, and want to share their knowledge of how they use their skills in 'the game'
- The so-called alpha males who believe they are the best and have the perfect method
- The people who joined the community and (slowly) progress in improving themselves
- The quitters: They try to find short-term solutions to their problems, or some magic bullet. Once they can't find it, they leave the community and (almost) never look back.
