Hey guys,

You’ve probably hear that saying “Be a man...grow some balls”.

Well, my saying is “Be a man, grow some facial hair”.

Listen up…chicks dig facial hair.

Indeed, a study in the 1970s and another one three years ago come to similar conclusions: Women are more attracted to, and more likely to develop a long or short-term relationship with, men with light beards or stubble. They also find men with full beards more aggressive and mature, but also the least attractive. Men with no facial hair were rated the second-least attractive, but also least likely romantic partners.

In Australia, a 2010 national survey found 6 in 10 women agreed that men with facial hair have much more sex appeal than their cleaner cut counter parts, showing that today’s woman will put up with the occasional pash rash in return for a sexier looking bloke.

Nearly two thirds of the men asked also agreed that having well-groomed facial hair gives them a much better success rate with women.

The below line is this, facial hair for men is like make-up for women. Men who have facial hair (full beard, light beard, goatee or stubble) are considered by women to be:

- More handsome

- Sexier

- More social mature

- More masculine

- Tough

- Dominant

- Aggressive

- The best romantic partners, either for a fling or a long-term relationships

So, how do women feel about certain types of facial hair?

A 2008 U.K. study has shown that women are more attracted to men with stubbly chins than those with clean-shaven faces or full beards.
Women participating in the research rated men with stubble as tough, mature, aggressive, dominant and masculine - and as the best romantic partners, either for a fling or a long-term relationship.

The findings of the experiment, carried out on British women aged 18 to 44, could explain the appeal of actors such as George Clooney and Brad Pitt who cultivate their unshaven look.

Let’s break it down...according to U.K. women:

Men with stubble = tough, mature, aggressive, dominant and masculine - and as the best romantic partners, either for a fling or a long-term relationship. They were also rated the most physically attractive.

Clean-shaven men = finished last for masculinity, dominance, aggression, and social maturity, and they were the least favored choice as a long-term partner. They came second-to-last for attractiveness.

Men with full beards
were judged to be the most masculine, aggressive and socially mature. They were also thought to look five years older.

Conclusion, stubble is the way to win a woman’s heart.

I completely agree. That's one thing I always look for on guys when I see them with really hot chicks. What kind of facial hair configuration does he have? It's basically a form of peacocking, because you can create your own unique style of facial hair--beard, stubble, mustache, soul patch, goatee, chops, side burns, etc. This is a way to set yourself apart from other guys and give yourself a unique style.

I shave every three days..to allow for some hair to growth...but not to much that makes you look dirty. You should keep a balance, looking neat and manly at the same time!

I agree to that. Women find men more sensual when they have these beard growing. I too shave my beard every 2 or 3 days. But I never let it grow more than a week. I look dirty I think. It would not be a good factor if you'll look untidy because of it.

I completely agree with the stubble, every two days, I use the backside of my electric razor. However, I am currently in a bet with a few friends with this moustache thing...I'm trying to rebuild confidence

Although I don't believe that facial hair will make EVERY guy more attractive, I feel that facial hair is to guys as makeup is to girls. As a guy who has always kept some sort of facial hair on my face ever since my early high school days, I understand how important of a role it plays in my overall appearance. I find what's most important is being WELL GROOMED. Regardless of how much facial hair you have, whether it be stubble or a full beard, if it looks sloppy it wont work in your favor.

Agreed. Some guys with 5'oclock shadows look like scrubs who just got up and were too lazy to shave. Yet others look like David Beckham. The key is to find what type of facial hair configuration works for you and then rock it to the best of your ability. I see some guys who have long chin beards or fucked up mustaches and I just cringe, because it makes them look so retarded. Yet to them they think it's cool simply because they can grow it. But it's not cool to women.

It's true about the clean shave. When I first got out of the Marine Corps I still shaved every day out of habit. Unfortunately, the clean face look makes every male on the planet under the age of 60 look like he's 14 and hasn't hit puberty yet.

I disagree about the 5'oclock though. I know a lot of girls that would prefer a 5'oclock shadow to an actual full on beard. Not a couple days of growth...a motherfuckin beard.

As long as it's not so short that it's rough i think it's fine. Long enough to be soft is what I'm saying. The problem with full on facial hair is while there are a lot of girls that like them, there's also a lot of girls that don't. From what I understand from girls I have talked to, actual beards are very uncomfortable to kiss and are no good for eating pussy. I think a happy medium is what's best because then you don't exclude a particular type of girl. I have a trimmer that I use every 2 days that's set on a certain height. That way it's always the same and I don't have to worry about it. Nice and soft.
