This is a little unreleased footage for you guys that I hope is useful

In it, you'll see me:

- Get the girl off the phone
- Keep her there even though she's late and in a hurry
- Handle a few common objections, especially "how often do you do this"
- Be persistent and playful and get the number

It's a short video, but it shows that you don't have to do a "perfect set" to get a number. The point is to always push a little bit further, because you have nothing to lose. Never take the first "no" as a rejection - if you keep trying in a non-needy, fun way, often you'll be rewarded where other guys fail!

Yes, your persistence got you the number. I bet a lot of guys would have given up earlier! You can really see her body language change as the interaction goes on. Her feet goes from pointing away to her legs being crossed which is definitely a sign that you made her comfortable.

She gave you her number to shut you up without being rude. Our culture rewards women for acting polite and accommodating in public, but taking advantage of that trait doesn't mean she's interested. You came off looking pathetic and desperate. If you can game a girl into offering her number voluntarily, that's an accomplishment. But this was just sad.

I'm not saying this won't work sometimes, but it did seem like she gave you "her" number, to get rid of you.

I expect that she flaked, because she wasn't even receptive to giving out her name to you.

Just to be clear:

What this video ISN'T:

- A "perfect" approach. I'm not sure one exists anyway, but the point is, your approach doesn't have to be 100% smooth in order for you to get a number and a date.
- An example of how to really connect with a girl. Unfortunately she was genuinely late and in a hurry. The point was about doing my best in the circumstances.
- A flake. She did get back to my texts and we flirted in the same playful way as the interaction was. (I do not go on dates as I have a girlfriend, but the number was as solid as any that I have arranged a meet-up with before).

What this video IS:

- An example of how simple it is to get a girl who's both in a rush and on the phone, to stop and chat. The core aspect is that I genuinely believe that I'm providing value, and an interaction with me is worth stopping for. So it's easy for me to communicate that and have her believe it (all I said was "you totally can!")
- A good way to use the "yes and" method of improvisational comedy to take a possible criticism / objection (her: "how often do you do this?") and turn it into a joke (me: "you're the 20th today actually!")
- A valuable lesson in the power of persistence, showing how not to be needy (notice how I never ask her, say "please," or even take a step to try to follow her when she walks away, but her body language turns more and more towards me over time).

What I hope guys take out of it, is that you shouldn't use any excuses ("she looks busy" / "she's on the phone" / "she went into a shop") to bail on an approach. If you really like her - TAKE the opportunity, it may be the only one you'll ever get!

The fact is, although my initial approach was TOO confident and it made her sceptical initially, she eventually started laughing at what I was saying, facing towards me, and I was able to turn the interaction around. This is a lesson that just pushing that little bit further is worth it. Not only do you learn, but can get a result where most guys would have given up!

It probably was a flake. You'd never admit it was anyway.

Well its not an absolute disaster and the fact that he actually number closed a girl on a cell phone (which i'v never seen a video of before) is a feat in itself. So kudos to that. With that being said there was no qualification or kind of rapport being built between the two of you that would A. Make you want to see her again and B. Make the girl prove that she is good enough for your standards. Physical escalation was on point for day game but the fact that she was reluctant to give her number was interesting. Perhaps a pacing statement such as this "this is totally random" before going in would have adjusted her socially for what was about to happen. The real question here is how many girls did you have to approach on cell phones before one stopped their conversation and talked to you?

1. The last girl I got off the phone ended in a same day lay.

2. I already explained that due to her being in a hurry and late, there wasn't much time to do any kind of qualification. The point of the video is that even when there are barriers to you getting a result, do it anyway, because if you push a bit more, you'll learn, and may get a close when you might not have expected it.
