We then went to buy some mulled wine and back to mine to make it. The date was going well and we put some music on and started making out.
After quite a long period of making out, I put my hand up her shirt with the intention of taking it off. SHe smiled at me and said no. I tried to play it cool and smiled back. We then continued kissing and I said I'm gonna go down on her. TO which again she smiled and shook her head. So again we continued kissing. She had to leave to go home, so I walked her to the train station, she held my arm/hand and the conversation continued where we were before kissing, it was natural and easy conversation. I just hugged her goodbye since we were in a public place.
Hopefully I'm just over thinking this and worrying for no reason. I was just wondering if I maybe went a bit too far on a first date and if so how can I follow up? Was thinking of sending her a message on Monday saying "Hey, how was the rest of your weekend? You've added master mulled wine maker to your skill set!"
Any thoughts would be much appreciated. Also if you guys have any first date rules/follow up techniques they would be much appreciated.
Thanks.
