A Sticking Point or SP is an issue you CONSISTENTLY run into.
It is
NOT a point where you get stuck with ONE SPECIFIC GIRL.
A Sticking Point is:
Quote:
I keep getting LMR whenever I bring girls back to my place. This has happened at least 10 times already! What am I doing wrong?
A Sticking Point is NOT:
Quote:
I got LMR with this one girl! What do I do?
IT IS AGAINST THIS BOARD'S RULES TO POST THREADS ABOUT JUST ONE GIRL
If you have not already gone out and practiced enough to have a real Sticking Point from meeting an ABUNDANCE of women, YOU DO NOT DESERVE TO POST HERE.

I have a problem and I am done running away from it. I am taking the steps but I need guidance, advice anything as I am completely dumbfounded.
Story:
I took a Psychology class almost 2 years ago during which that time the professor was demonstrating to the class how to "read people" with her skills given her 20+ years of experience in the field. She had us draw a picture and then just by looking at the picture she could successfully know who drew the picture and what their problem is. I eventually figured out how she did it because I wanted to make sure it was legit. The truth is she could recognize the drawing by the handwriting of the drawer and their drawing patterns and then having been with that person for months (small class about 20-30 students) she could successfully identify what major problems the individual had in their life, etc. Nevertheless a life changing experience, one that I have ignored, until now that is.
When it was my turn my professor said the following "You are your greatest enemy. You make great progress but you eventually hit a wall. Once you hit the wall instead of breaking through and making new progress you take 3 steps back and have to start all over to achieve what you want".
Boy that really hit home, hit me so hard I ignored it for years.
Truth is she was dead right, in everything. I hit walls with my friends, family, pickup, school etc.
Instead of admitting it I ran away from my problems. That is until a couple of months ago.
Since then I've turned my life around to a certain extent: I am passing all my classes in school, I finally have a batch of reliable friends. My life is starting to form into a life that is making me happy, but it is no where complete. Truth be told pickup is important in my life, Approach Anxiety, the thrill of the hunt, the challenge, it's all engraved into me and I can't hide it. I have learned to accept it.
Now I want to face what was put before me. But how?
Should I try my best to find my professor and ask for help? Even after 2 years?
Should I speak with a psychologist?
Should I find someone to talk to and try to open up?
Has anyone ever experienced anything like this before?
Any help/advise guys is beyond greatly appreciated. I'm just trying to improve my life.

These kind of books will give you the inspiration and answers you need!
