Hello All,

Modro here and I'm back on the site to begin sorting out several areas of my life that I want to improve on, back in 2011 I did a diary here for a few weeks, If I'm honest I ended it far too early but it was a good refresher and I felt good for doing it but not as in depth as I wanted. Fast forward to today and I'm in a slightly frustrating period of my life and I feel that i need action and focus to get on the right track.

I'm recently 27 and time seems to be flying by, I don't feel "old" by any means but feel like im running out of time, I cant explain what for but I see alot of people/friends around me starting to do well and for the last 3 years I have hit a plateau and feel nothing is moving forward. I still don't really know what I want to do as a career and I don't have much free money each month and not a great deal of savings (more details later).

My last "girlfriend" was about 2 years ago. Since her I have slept with 6 different girls, a couple of one night stands and a few I was seeing for a few months (basically a fb) only one of them i really liked but she didnt want any kind of relationship. Currently have a girl i've been seeing for about 5 months, now I am in control of the situation she is about a 6.5. We meet up every now and again with very little contact. I havn't invested anything emotional in her but she is there if i need some company ;)

So my plan involve the 6 F's below, I will have goals in each area for an overall target, I will reach that target by adding different weekly tasks.

Fitness: Overall exercise
Females: Improving with the ladies further
Finances: Increase savings, less wasting money, Improve income and find a long term career
Flat: Keeping my flat tidy and investing in it.
Fashion: General appearance, new clothes and shoes for all occasions.
Fun: Bit general, but make sure im still enjoying life and experienceing/learning things

WEEK 1 DAY 1:

First day and I have obviously started the diary, this evening I have been searching around gym websites and I think I have found the one I would like to join, I'm going to have a look around it sometime this week. I think it's important to do exercise me you look and feel good.

I messaged someone i know from my sports team, there is a career that i wouldn't mind getting into. He is alot older then me and high up in this profession so I asked him to give me a heads up when they are next recruiting. basically if you get in you train for 12-14 months (then you can earn a very decent living) during training i believe I would earn roughly what im on now. So this is something to keep an eye on and very good if I can get into it as i won't take a hit in pay or have to invest money (paying to go on a course for a qualification)

Also managed to play some online games with a buddy for a bit of fun to end the day.

WEEK 1 DAY 2:

Today on my lunch I decided to invest in some tupperware. Now I can make healthy protein meals to take to work and keep a consistant diet for all my exercise.

When I got in, I did a basic tidy in my kitchen and prepared food for tomorrow, I then did about an hour work out in a local park wth a friend, I am basically training him and it was a nice work out. I have another session booked in for a few days time.

chilled out at the end of the day with a DVD.

WEEK 1 DAY 5:

I basically had a chill out evening, I'm still looking around for ideas that i might want to do for a career, my fb basically tried to get me to commit to her being my gf, she is ok but not doing it for me in terms of wanting to make that happen. I would like to settle down but I dont think she ticks enough boxes.

DAY 6:

Basically hung of with my buddies all day, went to a pub played pool. Then went and played computer games and watched football (soccer) and a film. Tomorrow I have a busy day and I still have a few of my weekly goals to finish. This is something I was expecting, the first week is a bit all over the place and i need to get into a routine of making time for tasks.

So a week one task I didnt get round to was writing in detail about each section I wish to improve and setting overall tasks. I am going away with a few of the lads in about 3 months so I figured wy not work on myself till then and see how far I can get.

Fitness:

General fitness has neve been a problem, Im about 5'9 and 13 stone at the minute, I tend to do about 8 months a year in the gym and play for 2 football teams. recently I have got into cycling a bit.

I had a sports injury for about 5 months ago and stopped going to the gym, It has healed enough that I can play again and work out, I love going to the gym but sometimes I get too busy or my diet goes to hell for a few days or even get too burned out and hit the wall after about 40 minutes.

So my goal is to get back in the gym setting myself goals and really getting my body fat % down, I am training a friend at the minute using basic non equipment exercises, and light weights but I want to step up further and stay the same weight roughly but build some muscle and lose alot of fat %.

Overall Tasks:

Join a gym
go gym at least twice a week
cycle to work at least once a week
one personal training session with my friend per week

Females:

I am going to go into more detail for this one anoter day

Finances:

Right this is the most frustrating one, I dont have an amazing paid job, I get about £20,000 a year plus some bonus (between 1-3k/year). As I live n my own alot of my monthly money goes to paying for my flat and bills. I would say I get about £280 ish pounds to do what ever with a month. Most of it seems to go on food shopping, I will need just a few items and come out spending double what I wanted too and alot of those items were snacks or I didn't REALLY need. I am going to plan my meals for my work and evening and have a set menu each week.

Throw in paying for my sports and a few nights out a month and then I'm on fumes trying to have a social life but not having any freedom with it other then a few nights.

Cycling to work and football training can save me petrol money and it really does add up, at the minute we have loads of snow so it just isnt safe and I have been limited to about once a week, ideally 3 times minimum could save me up to £40 a month.

My main goals are to get into a career I can really focus on that hopefully pays better too, I have a few ideas but I will continnue looking into this one.

Flat:

I moved in about 2.5 years ago, it's not huge but perfect for me and having my own space is impotant. I am very lazy with keeping things tidy and sorting clothes etc so getting a routine with the cleaning is my main goal.

I would also like to add more decoration, as money is tight with me this is in the background in terms of need but something to keep an eye on.

Overall Tasks:

- Make a cleaning rota (So general tidy, washing on a certain day, tidy clothes another etc)

Fashion:

For a long time i was never into my fashion, it was somethingyou neer think to really care about so much. Last few years i've been investing. Now I would love to spend £60-100 a month on 2-4 really nice new items. Fincially that going to happen at the moment. But I will set a maximum budget of £30 on clothes a month. So searching in sales to get a good deal is vital. Luckily I occasionally get some free items from someone I know who works in the business, they arent amazing but I have had a few nice bits from there and other I can use to work out in or just lounge.

Overall tasks

- Spend no more then £30 a month on clothes, check around for sale items

Fun:

I want to have fun, go out and drink, cinema, meals or even just random little trips, I think If I can sort out some of the above items this section becomes alot easier.

WEEK 2 DAY 3:

Wrote the previous post

I also had a good 1 hour work out with my buddy, slowly adding more to the work outs.

I still need a good tidy of one room, start reading some game material, 1 more work out and cycle to work.

WEEK 2 DAY 4:

I had a chill out evening, did a quick few sets with weights I have at home

DAY 5:

I was going to cycle but the roads are still not safe, there is alot of ice at the side of the roads and thats basically where you cycle, not worth it. Will try and go for a ride over the weekend though.

Had a social event round a friends, his gf is trying to set me up with this 5/10 but im not interested. She has a few really hot friends but they all seem to be taken for.

I also worked out what the basic food I want to eat would cost for the month. Im sticking to alot of veg, no fat greek yogurt, clean meats like chicken or turkey occasional fish and beeef and for snacks things like Almonds. When I work out I have an all in one protien shake i take with water. It has fine oats, creatine and a couple of types of protien in it.

Plans for over the weekend RE 3 films at the cinema, a bike ride maybe another PT session with my friend and going round to watch a PPV event to another friends.

WEEK 2 DAY 6

Went for an 8 mile cycle in the morning

Cinema and social with friends all through out the rest of the day and evening

DAY 7

Cinema again today, I have about an hour before Im going to a friends to watch the PPV event and stay over. I shall begin reading 60 years of change as well as set my targets for next week.

I did upload my CV onto a jobsite, I will see if I get any interest back from that, I would love new challange and an extra 3/5k a year. I have been thinking of other options one is a branch of the military but I just dont know. The starting money is less then what I get now and I would basically be potentially stuck under cotract for 5 years minimum. It is an options but probably something I would wait till the end of the year and see where i am, there is one career I have wanted for a good 6 + years but I gave up about 2 years ago trying to get in (nearly impossible and they only recruit maybe once a year)
