Hey guys! Best forum for advice ever! You guys are awesome!

I need a little bit of advice, I have been giving a friend of mine pointers and such, helping him write to his ex-teacher to pick her up and I'm a bit stuck.

Here is the conversation so far. I would like some pointers into transitioning from online to a meetup or to a phone number. Any help is much appreciated!

Come on guys! Any advice! Even if it is just an idea...
-Maybe it's something you thought about trying but never did.
-Maybe you just came up with it now and you think it will work.
-Maybe you have heard of others trying this and getting results.
-Maybe you read it somewhere.
Please guys any help would be appreciated! I'm literally stuck! Clueless!
-Only thing I can think of is being direct!
-Just not sure if the attraction is there, pretty sure there is some comfort-just not sure if there is enough.

Dude, reading your message thread will take longer than reading War and Peace. If you want help, cut out the fluff and re-paste it with just the relevant points of the interaction.

Ok guys! Here is a condensed version! I know SMERSH said there is a lot of fluff & no one really wants to read it all. But, I feel reading the whole story is essential so you can see different aspects of the conversation & how they apply to the art of picking up. Such as: DHV'ing, Neg's, Raising her value, displaying interest, showing needyness, push-pull, shit test, building comfort, building attraction, etc. There is a lot in the words-sub-level communication. I know I asked for help on how to take the convo to the phone or to a meet-up, but if you see something in here that maybe displayed too much neediness or was a shit test we fell for, or we need to build more comfort & how? or attraction. Please lend a hand! Thank you! For those who didn't want to read a book I'm sorry I couldn't cut it any further without it not making sense.

The good part was that he framed her as naughty and he is reasonably humorous.
The bad is that he still hasn't shown any clear intent other than vaguely asking when she is coming back to (State).
Showing intent would have been: "When are you coming back to (State)? We should discuss the wonders of potatoes over drinks" or anything along those lines.

Also my friend is not a pick up artist or has never been exposed to pick up as an art form so he is kind of clueless.

Any sticky points he should know?
-I told him to go for a hug in the beginning and not to show any reaction if rejected or it is awkward.
-Told him to be touch (light) during conversation & interaction.
-I advised him to be careful, but maybe use a couple negs if she is being standoffish.
-Would like to use cocky/funny - but I personally am still new to it.
-Push/pull - I don't know.
-Definitely he will need to DHV for the first few minutes.
- Have her qualify her self - I was thinking the basic - "Why would someone want to date you?" or "what are your top five qualities?"
-Any conversation threads - you think would be appropriate for the situation? ------Maybe like a question about her that could lead into a personal DHV (would have to cut her off) - would that seem like bragging than?
-Any pointers on how not be put in the friend zone?
